Ah I see. Why is it advertised as a pre-install if I can’t even install the base game yet? I’ve never encountered this when preinstalling other games before release.

trying to reinstall it now to a different path, i will update you guys if it will work to download it completly. Will take about 2 hours sadly

This is a bug. The teams at Microsoft/Asobo are working on it. They’re saying those who messed with their time zones to download it earlier messed it up for everyone else who waited.

I received a message apparently it is possible to download in UK now.

Edit: still no luck, just download 1.5GB but I’ll keep trying.

We were not trying to do anything wrong some of us can’t stay up past midnight to do it

In Germany we can finally start the sim but it is now crashing to desktop direct at the startup …

Not true. Go into the xbox store and download there. It seems to be a licensing issue.

Hi there. The Premium edition is essentially an upgrade to the standard. When you launch the sim via the standard edition icon it will still provide you with the premium deluxe items. We apologize for any confusion here.

Where are you seeing this “x” out option for the content manager? It is not there for me.

Have the same issue with a normal Windows Build

If your installation hangs, gets stuck on “please wait…” or tries to load the sim without downloading all the files, try going to your installation folder, sorting files by date and removing the last downloaded/partially downloaded file. Restart FS and it should kick in.

hey the sim have downloaded only the standard edtion flies
i dont have any exrta airport or plane.
but i got this error on the store

flight simulator premium deluxe upgrade does not work on this device.
can you help? it someting on your end or mine?

yea sounds like a good fix for us, but sadly I allready deleted and started redownloading all files :smiley: have fun flying

how did you start the launcher as adminstrator?

Have the same problem here and seen others having this issue

The team just pushed an update forward that should resolve the disc in tray check. If anyone is having this issue, can you let me know if it works for you? You may need to clear your cache by running wsreset if you had the store open when our fix rolled out.

Having exactly the same issue as well

Left click start (windows logo), scroll down to “Microsoft Flight Simulator”, right click on the icon, select more>run as administrator
