Can anyone at Asobo or MSFS2020 tell me why we are a year and a half into production and still without “Instant Replay”?

It’s there now, select developer mode from your options.

It’s only available via the developer mode on PC. This was introduced with the SU7 update on November 18th.

There’s a freeware replay on flightsim.to which in my opinion is a lot better than the thing they gave us. Also you don’t need to turn on dev mode to get it which means you can still log your flights.

Sadly still not available for Xbox customers even in developer mode…

I don’t believe there is a developer mode in Xbox, that’s why replay isn’t available.
It is a “beta” only and leaves something to be desired.

I came to Msfs on Xbox from FS9 which had a great replay system ,especially liked being able to drag the control tower absolutely anywhere on the planet and at any elevation which allowed great landing / takeoff views from the repositioned Tower.

And that was I don’t even know how many years ago! Still can’t believe it shipped without a native replay function.

Yeah I remember replay mode on my pc back in 2004! I got a xbox x specifically for ms flight simulator expecting a replay function, but boy was I so disappointed 
& not to mention the constant CDUs!!! I mean you would expect replay now in 2022!!!
