Is it normal for all the planes to start pithing up on take off? In all the aircraft ins MSFS whenever I put the the thottle at full for takeoff the planes start pitching up by themselves after a while without me touching the controller. Can some assist me pls?
Hi @nick100998, and welcome to the forums!

Planes are built to fly, so yes, as you gain speed they are going to want to naturally come off the ground. This is good and bad. Come up to early, you risk stalling.
This is where flight planning (weight and balance) comes into play to ensure you set your trim properly for take off.
You want to look at your center of gravity and adjust accordingly.
Even when flying small GA (Cessna 152/172) with just myself (no extra passengers / cargo) I still like a bit of nose down trim versus the takeoff position (centered).
Hi, thanks a lot for your response! I noticed that sometimes the nosewheel would start lifting up close to v-speed by itself, I don’t believe i’ve had this issue before or never noticed it, I have no AI switched on but I also wanted to double check as sometimes the pitch can be quite shar on the runway when taking off.
Any plane in particular? And have you adjusted the trim wheel to apply a little nose down trim to keep it planted a bit longer?
Personal Comments
Yep. The plane wants to fly - between the flap settings, take off power and nose up attitude, the aircraft will pitch up. You can mitigate by setting the trim to Take-Off if available/known, otherwise trim upon establishing positive rate of climb (fly the plane first safely - even if that means pushing down on the stick/yoke to keep nose in moderate pitch - then trim).
Repeat the mantra every student pilot knows by heart: Pitch, Power, Trim. Do this every time.
On all planes this happens, even on the normal A320, I haven’t touched the trim settings for it previously.
Yep… I like to have some positive “back pressure” on the yoke. It’s like “road feel” when driving… if that makes sense.
I want to fly it off the runway, not have it rotate all by itself.
We’ll on the A320 when you do all your flight planning the computer gives you a trim setting to use (I believe).
This is most likely you’re issue. Not trimmed.
