Jack of All Planes - MSFS2020

I know that this has been discussed before, but I am pulling out my hair. I have been stuck at 95% now for multiple flights. I have redone all 20 aircraft within the last two weeks as shown below:

I even did both 172s (G1000 and standard) and still haven’t gotten the credit. Some things that I have pondered:

  • Does it matter if it’s the Airbus A320neo V1 or V2? I’ve only done it on the V2.
  • I had a fresh install of MSFS2020 (so no liveries or other add-ons except for the ones that it installs with like Emerald Harbor or Test Pilot) and have not installed any liveries.

I had more but I answered them myself as I reflew everything.

In case you’re wondering where I got the exact distances and times, it’s courtesy of Flight Log Analyzer (https://www.flightloganalyzer.com/) - A piece of software that I bought to help me figure this out and I love it! (Shameless Plug)

I would guess it’s this. Try the original.

The achievement was created long before the V2 became a thing, and I’m probably confident in saying they didn’t spend any time changing the achievement goals when new planes were added.

Looks like your Doing msfs 2020 Jack of all Planes ?

MSFS 2024 is Jack of all Trades.
Jack of all Trades achievement is glitched! - Bug Reporting Hub / Resolved - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums

I finally knocked this one out recently, so it’s still possible. And yeah, definitely go with the v1 A320.

Another great tip that helped massively…for anything slow you have to refly, use manual weather with a tail wind, and gradually increase it over time so the plane can adjust. You’ll get most stuff rocking along at 300+ kts ground speed after ten minutes or so :joy:

Thanks for the catch  . The post headline has been updated to reflect the achievement I am pursuing accurately.

I did a 300+ mile flight in V1 from KNEW to KAUS… and of course MSFS2020 didn’t record the flight - so I will do it again tomorrow.

Just do the achievement where you have to fly from the Airbus factory in France to Seattle. You get two achievements in one flight! Only takes a tiny bit more time!

I had to do this one twice also.
Looked up all the ac needed, wrote them down and checked after every flight for increase in %…Somehow I was still missing one (95%). Second time through, I was at #8 and it popped completed. In my case, early in 2020 release, it was mods in the community folder that caused the issue.

I’ve still got a clean install of MSFS2020 (story for another post) and nothing non-standard in my Mods folder.

Just finished A320 v1 from KPAM to KMLB (330nm), it’s showing in my logbook with 1 departure and 1 arrival  - annnnnddd NOPE - Still 95% :stuck_out_tongue:

I did that one years ago

It is a tricky (glitchy?) one but can be done.
I still had a bunch of saved info from this one.
Not all of the tips are correct, some are just coincidental.

One thing I was thinking of - even though my logbook counts it as a takeoff and landing, I wonder if some of the grass strips I landed at caused it not to count.

Can anyone explain what this is? I see nothing in FS2020 about it.

Thank you to all who have provided suggestions. While I may not have used all of them, They became one of the tools in the toolbox and I am now a proud member of the exclusive club known as the ‘Jacks’

@MucusTech - It’s one of the achievements in MSFS2020. In MSFS2024, it’s been replaced with “Jack of All Trades”

Edit: Just saw your latest post.
Congrats !

Could be that or water ( thinking Icon A5 )
Try controlled airport to controlled airport for the ones you originally did on grass/water.
Probably only a couple right?

2nd time around, I did all ac to/from the same controlled default airports
GPS/Direct, Hilo to Lihue, 284 nm (326 miles) to be sure it met the 300 mile requirement.
…it’s a long haul in the cubs & Icon  but my favorite area to fly.

Where in FS2020 can I see these? I didn’t know they even existed.

Which plane did it end up being?

@MucusTech

For 2020 you’ll find all the achievements here.
( as well as Xbox app )

2024 is only on the XBox app, I think

The Zlin Savage. I did a flight from KSFO to KLAX with unlimited fuel and all assists on (shivering the entire time) and let the AI Pilot fly, except he never went down… so came in this morning to find that I had flown all the way down to Baja California. Turned right and landed in La Paz, Mexico.
