Where are aircraft specific fixes ?

The featured video of the Vulcan being used in MSFS2024…ironic that people who bought the Vulcan through the marketplace cant use it!

This is exactly where I am with MSFS 2024.
I am not planning to purchase it until it is playable on XSX. From all the review evidence it is not.
Furthermore I have lost trust in the development team’s ability (and will) to fix the console version. It has been two months since initial release of the product and nothing has been done.

Some of the CMs tell us thst the team do have real Xboxes but if they really do, it’s obvious that they weren’t trying out MSFS2024 on any of them.

I feel sorry for everyone who has paid out for a product that clearly isn’t up to even a half decent standard.for release…

it will take a big improvement in QA for Xbox users to make me feel I’m valued enough as a user to make the transition. It’s about time (overdue actually) that MSFS started to listen to those of us who have supported MSFS on consoles.

Hello I am considering helping out by signing up for the beta on Xbox.
Can someone please confirm (or not) for me if I do join beta will my save game be safe?

I .e will my current career mode earnings, certifications, specialisations, reputaion and companies/planes come across and also remain if I need to go back to the regular version or beta fails or gets updated. ?
On Xbox it is not as easy to create backups of these files as on pc.
Happy to help so long as I’m not risking having to grind my way back to where I’m at , at any stage.

We all have different levels of what we’ll tolerate but is find it to be quite playable on XSX, probably 80% ok (for my subjective definition of ok)

Shocking to see that the FS2020 marketplace is still being spammed.

Hope there are countermeasures in the FS2024 marketplace, or at least usability upgrades for ignoring content. But I very much doubt it

Some of you really need to read.

This isn’t the end of SU1 this is the first BETA of SU1, there are still a bunch of fixes to come in SU1 - including the mouse acceleration bug.

G1000 DOT Bug still exists!

Confirm. Not fixed.
Asobo: We fixed this! Huray!
Nope.
Shame…

I’m just curious how long this SU1B will take given the current state of the sim. A couple of months?

To be fair, the FS24 marketplace is much more controlled and fitering… in that it isn’t open at all lol.

I’m still waiting for a new GDK for Xbox. Maybe then the LOD and pop-in issues will be resolved. It’s hard to have faith in someone who has already deceived us more than once, but here I am!

If anyone has issue with the xcloud controls can you guys pls vote the main thread that has 80+ votes ? Thanks because otherwise will never be fixed

Yes, all of your controller profiles, flight logs, earnings, etc. are saved to the cloud. You can enter and leave the beta at will without losing any of that. You can even delete and completely reinstall the game if you wish.

None of VA Systems current content will be able to carry over to FS2024. They all make use of the Asobo A320, which is not in the 2024 sim, only the IniBuilds A320.

However, that doesn’t mean that when the Marketplace opens up, they wont release all of their addons in completely new 2024 packages. I also don’t see them as being a particularly charitable or consumer friendly business, so I expect they will fully charge any of their 2020 customers for a 2024 version (where the only change to their automated program would be to exchange the Asobo A320 for the IniBuilds 320).

Only Europeans have Christmas / New Year holidays? That’s new to me then…:joy:

2020 is easy and they KNOW how to fix or add anything to 2020. 2024 they have no clue how to make this game work under the arbitrary file size they committed to(if they dumped the ā€˜100gb size’ promise they could fix 2024). It would look bad to enhance 2020 without being able to do it in 2024. Which they cant. That innibuilds local legend has been done since September of 2024 for the Brazil WU.

Deja vu here. When the Alpha went public exact same words

I have not seen any comms regarding expected timelines. Did I just miss this one?
Do we know how long the beta will be running? I know it might get a bit extended but it would be interessting to know if we are talking about 2 weeks or 2 month? At least what is the aim.

Haha nobody even knew when it was planned to launch this test. It was just a fact: ā€œOk, here is beta, you may join.ā€ There is even a huge topic on this forum about lack of communication. Do not expect anything, just enjoy
