The aim is to test the changes made in the release notes. That could take a few week or more.

welcome to live service gaming
they bought activision and activation are the kings of this type of thing

Why does it matter when it goes to live? We have it now.
Maybe if the market place opens up when it goes live it makes a difference but otherwise

Marketplace is surly one of the reasons for me.
There are other reasons too, therefor I would like to make a informed decission if I would like to wait another 1-2 weeks or join the beta test.

At the end it comes down to personal preferences if you would like to go this way or not.

It’s not just Xbox
PC users too. Remember ‘we share the same sim’ supposedly.

that’s not how Asobo/MSFS works. They have their own internal timelines and we’re typically at their whim; so no, no one knows when SU1 will launch until they choose to communicate it. My guess is they don’t even know.

The exact wording was that there were three bugs marked on the SU1 list that weren’t in the beta for SU1 because they were still being worked on. 3. Not a bunch. I would not be getting the community built up on the promise of us being showered with more bugs this SU provides. There are 3 bugs we know that they are working on that are “still on target” to be rolled out into SU1. That wording does not imply that there are more bugs, and it doesn’t even state that these 3 bugs WILL make it into SU1. Only that as of now, they are “still on target”.

I am not being negative. But I am trying to manage expectations here. People are reading what was read with rose colored glasses and expecting great things. The only thing we do know from those statements are that there are 3 bugs that may or may not make it into SU1.

There are a lot of things they’ve fixed without noting as well, which is kind of classic Asobo.

E.g one of the top bugs around blurry textures (which was huge for me) is now fixed, yet it remains on the tracker as planned. It makes you wonder what Asobo have understood from that bug report thread? Maybe there is some edge case somewhere they’re still looking into?

Anyway good signs so far in my opinion

The Xbox Series X graphics quality is also improved. Nothing about that in the official beta notes. Classic Asobo move.

My money is simply on communication/tracking. Stuff like the G1000 “dot” issue being fixed, but not actually included in the beta.

Its one thing to isolate/fix/track the work, its another to then keep track of every step of that and communicate it accurately.

That is such a standard Assistant Producer job that it makes no sense that it can’t be done effectively.

Do they have any APs there?

would love a large career credit reimbursment for all the times you have to repair an aircraft after the mission bugs/ errors out and damages the aircraft, it is very fustrating when you start a mission it bugs out then have to spend a fortune to repair your now “damaged” aircraft due to no fualt of your own
