Their support is amazing. The 4th update already, they fixed a lot and the aircraft was already very good at release and is near perfect now. For me this is without doubt the best add-on for MSFS.

It’s a fantastic product, highly recommended.

I am finding that after the update the Alt Hold feature isn’t working correctly and seems to be maintaining roughly a 50fpm ROD no matter what I do.

Anyone else seeing the same thing?

How are you enabling it, via the hidden button, or an external device?

The hidden button. It’s trimmed when I engage it, and then it sits at about 50fpm.

I don’t use the AP much, but I have used that feature before, triggered by my Logitech multi panel, but it does the same thing.

Perhaps this is a new behaviour with 0.5.0?

Yeah, it definitely wasn’t doing it before the update.

I’ll be finding it a go later this evening so I will test it then.

Is it influenced by the throttle? Will it correct to always be -50fpm no matter where you set the throttle?

Updated exterior textures in patch 0.998.0 perhaps?

Indeed. I’ve tried it at a range of prop & throttle settings and it still settles down into an average 50fpm descent. Strange given it was fine before. They have got rid of the Alt Hold shudder though which is a bonus.

So when using the ATL hold hidden button, the aircraft descends?

What I see is that it is no longer possiblel to select GPS on the GPS. It is stuck on VLOC.

Pressing the CDI button, GPS flashes, but the it jumps back into VLOC.

Does this on both the GNS530 and the GTN750

So it is not possible to set the AP to follow the GPS magenta line !!

This is a Major Regressive BUG, that will need to be addressed ASAP.

Can someone else please confirm (or deny) this is an issue

If you look in the bottom right of the main panel, just next to the GPS there is now a dedicated NAV/GPS switch to switch between the two which is more prototypical.

Very slowly and subtly, but yes.

Many thanks — but so now this function is no longer controlled by the GPS as it was in the previous versions.

Now that new switch appears to be FIGHTING with the CDI control on the GPS.

I can live with that I guess… maybe a complication that developed with the ability to switch around the GPS systems … but adding that switch should not have really been necessary – probably more an easy fix to a more fundamental issue.

I think the switch is what is in the real aircraft that they based the interior on.

Probably best to forget about the GPS for switching this aircraft :innocent:

Not sure what is going on. it also flickers a lot.

Reading between the lines here, would I be right in saying I should probably stick with 0.4.0 for now?

I don’t think so. It’s a nice update.

I’m sure when WeptBurrito publishes his update to his mod the AP issue will be fixed. Regarding the above, I’d uninstall and reinstall that. Something isn’t right there.

I’ve just flown it for about 1h30m and it behaved impeccably (AP issue aside).

The new update works great for me, i only have to check the altitude hold mode
