I’m looking forward to both airliners. They look great.
I’m only flying old style, VOR, NDB and the old RNAV (like in the Black Square mods). Two ADFs, like in the BAE 146 are heaven for me
For me it will be the first Airbus I will fly in MSFS. It’s from JustFlight, so it’s a must for me.
That’s a valid concern. At some point we will probably need an addon giving us all the NDBs and ADFs back as well as the old charts.
You’re right, though it’s a highly niche requirement.
I don’t think there will be enough demand for a standalone payware add-on and wonder whether someone is going to be dedicated enough to do a freeware/donationware version, (a reverse Hervé Sors, if you will) and add back the missing old navdata as well as collate old charts.
Developers may need to do this themselves when releasing classic airliners.
Is there a list somewhere of all VORs and NDBs that have ever existed? Maybe with their expiration date?
Unlikely. The closest I can find is here:
Historical radio beacons - Military Airfield Directory (konbriefing.com)
As for more recent ones, catch them while you can:
Navaids in the World @ OurAirports
This is probably never happen but UPS retrofitted the avionics for their a300s so it would be a nice surprise to have later after its released.
I too enjoy flying the old style VOR to VOR. I would love to see a good B727 or DC9. I just can’t get excited over yet another Airbus. I’d even enjoy an old DC10 or B707.
VIDEO IS BACK UP for those who missed it the first time…not sure what JustFlight are doing but it is kind of strange how it was up, then changed to unlisted, then removed and now back live…?
I mean, this is unbelievable.
Accidentally made it public when they intended to reveal it today at FSExpo.
I usually like some wear and tear in my pretend planes but those preview shots look a bit overdone for my tastes. Kinda looks like someone spilled their drink all over the instruments and the plane was left to rot and mottle away in a rainy field for a few years.
i was on board an a300B4 a few months ago and can confirm that this one also looked so worn.
The fully functional INS will be a joy to use.
Oh wow now we get a JustFlight and an iniBuilds A300. And I will get BOTH OF THEM!!
The JustFlight seems to be the classic full analogue one and the iniBuilds is the newer one (with a few screens inside the cockpit)
Considering fps problem of their 310, I think I will pass this one
Judtflight never made an A310, that was inibuilds. They will release an A300-600.
I hope their A300B4 will have an AI Flight Engineer that we can switch on. If every system is modeled, as they say, I wonder how we can fly the plane otherwise.
We need a shared cockpit possibility in MSFS2024.
That was inibuilds that did the a310. The BAE146 was made by JustFlight and is well optimized with great frame rates (on Xbox Series X).
Consider buying a normal computer instead before even continuing using the flight simulator genre. Even my ultracheap Radeon 6700 from the elusive “Parsimony Edition” combined with four year old Ryzen 2400G imported from Poland for 40 Bucks can handle the sim on mostly high-settings on 1920x1080 with all DLC airplanes with absolute ease Even over New York or Chicago…
Hm maybe flying the Fenix is impossible to fly in VR, but another cheap CPU upgrade will fix that problem.
That’s good for you. I have 9700k and rtx3070. I can play with my 2k monitor with the rest of the planes fairly good. But a310 is a different story. And I am not planning to buy a new pc for it.
I thought inibuilds is making it it by collaborating with just flight like blueblrd&justflight. My bad sorry
