To be clear, BATC does nothing with the core ATC logic whatsoever. In fact, it’s best to disable the sim’s own ATC entirely. Don’t generate a plan, turn off the sim’s own ATC panel and voices, and critically, set the sim’s Airport and Air Traffic Quality settings both to OFF. BATC injects its own traffic models (using model files from FSTraffic, FSLTL, AIG or a mix of all three, in whichever priority you want). After injecting the models, BATC moves them itself frame by frame. This avoids the overall brain-dead nature of the core sim’s AI traffic entirely, but does require running BATC as a separate application on your PC, something not required for FSTraffic itself.
Now having said all that, BATC has it’s own busy thread, so maybe we can discuss it over there if people are having issues with it.
