Both the F-15 and F-14 can nail that canyon no problem at all
@MXRIDERKTM The rudder is sensitive on take off but it’s an MSFS bug with all airplanes, not just the Hawk. Rotate at 90 knots, hold the nose at 10 degrees and wait until the airplane unsticks itself from the runway ( half flap for take off ).
For landing, 150 knots in the circuit, full flap, trimmed out, slowing to around 130 over the threshold and a gentle flare. It flies fine, just takes care and the nose-down appearance of the cockpit is unusual compared to other jets, watch your instruments for accurate flying.
Thanks. I have just cracked it. Changed my rudder settings, held on brakes for take off at full power and only used differential brakes during the roll. Worked a treat even with crosswind. Landing earlier on the brakes with no problems.
As everything it’s just practise practise practise.

Noob question. “I was at RAF Valley yesterday evening”. I was too and it was very busy! I didn’t delberately ‘join’ but my flight conditions was set to visible to all players. Was I really ‘there with others’ or did I miss how to join?
I don’t think that there was anything to “join”. People just fly around and often form up on each other without any form of communication, just the act of flying together.
There are discords that you can join or if you make “friends” with another player you can use Xbox party chat to talk to them whilst you fly.

If your flight conditions are set to All Players then they will see you and visa versa.
This plane is unbelievable in VR, flying around Valley in multiplayer yesterday evening and it was rammed with Hawks, had a blast dogfighting with two random other guys in Hawks 4,000 ft above Llanbedr and Valley airports..an amazing experience
Assuming I already bought the T-45 and that I just fly jets a few times a month…should I really consider spending 50$ US for this aircraft ? It seems that everyone here is excited (except for the dolphin nod…) but I cannot justify the price tag… It’s the most expensive aircraft with the CRJ and I was disappointed by the CRJ even though everyone was praising it. The CJ4 is better in my opinion and it’s free… Anyway, I need more comparison with the T-45 to convince me that I would get a good ROI with this aircraft…
First impressions absolutely stunning in VR, especially with the sim update 6 reflection and lighting fixes and the improved LODs. Thanks just flight and MSFS!!
