Go to your account, select the Product there and download it.
You will receive no emails for small updates. Just go to the JustFlight site, login & click on “My Account” → “Your Orders” and download again.
And how are we supposed to know that an update is available ?
Kinda of weird not to send an email, an update is an update.
Better contact their Support since arguing about this here on the forum will not help in any way.
“small updates” are called hotfixes (third number increment) and probably they think that only customers who face these issues would check the Support pages or forum and then get directed to the update.
Major updates (second number increment) always get an email notification sent out.
You can keep track of this page:
Every update will be logged there as well as mentioned here in the forums.
Simply because the staff who look after that bit of the jigsaw are not working, it’s a weekend and it’s a BH weekend so they’re not about. Martyn and the team still wanted to get this update done and out to solve some niggling issues and the notes were posted on the forum. Going forward you’ll receive an email to advise of updates especially the key ones.
That’s perfectly understandable, thanks for confirming that !
Does the Turbo Arrow IV not have a beacon light? I cant find a switch, maybe you can help me haha, thanks
Rotating beacon only on Arrow III
Okay, but why?
Why DME still active after I turned off both nav 1 and 2?
Because the real one has no beacon either?
The KN62 has it’s own DME receiver, it’s a third one, you can tune it to a different frequency independent from NAV1/2.
Not sure though if the state in your screenshot would be correct because it would have kept the last tuned frequency of the selected nav source.
Here’s a link to the Just Flight Product Forum. “All The News That’s Fit To Print.”
According to FAR 91.205 you only require a beacon on an aircraft manufactured after 11th March 1996.
Though there are other regulations that seem to require the aircraft also comply with it’s original type design which suggests any pre-1996 aircraft that had a beacon when certified must have a functioning one.
The JF Arrow IV is pre-1996 and did not originally have a beacon so it is quite legitimate for it to have no beacon.
Looks like the storm window in the turbo will remain as it is currently.
Did you open a ticket for that to their support?
Not a fan of the disabled Aileron input when AP is active… While it might fix autopilot issues for some (which they will still face in other aircraft), it is totally wrong to not being able to do any input.
Not by myself but as I remember somewhere on discord somebody wanted to open a ticket.
However I will do it as well once I get back to my computer to make sure it’s logged.
I agree! god I hope they dont do that
