I flied it 20min, nothing to add, poor sound design, inexistent flight model, had better feeling on FSX, 3D model looks cheap
h125 is so much better, hope there’ll be update

same, flew it for a flight, didn’t like the sound, the flight model etc, probably wont touch again. flying the MH-60 now
Who thought it was a good idea to link left cyclic to right anti-torque?
Does not fly well at all and I mainly fly helis even the Asobo h125 flys better than this toags Huey or Cowan simulations are more what I’d expect out of performance and flight characteristics
Was really looking forward to a new heli guess I’m waiting on miltechs mh60 to fill that itch now
Also never had any of nemeths stuff before and I don’t think I will ever buy any of this is what they are like
Yea agreed with your yea nah to HPG with the bail they did with there other one but toags or Cowan simulations would’ve done a better job here
Isn’t this the original freeware version that was released before MSFS actually supported helos? It had that hokey fake dynamics.
No idea all I know is it flys like 💩💩
It’s flyable but, as others have mentioned, yaw control is interesting in the hover.
Main problem so far is the engines are being fed by the transfer tanks instead of the main tank. One is fed off each tank so each engine cuts out as the transfer tank it’s feeding from empties. Obviously the engines should both feed from the main tank. A double engine flame out with 273kg of fuel remaining in the main tank!
Another oddity is the Standby Attitude and Instrument Light controls on the overhead. The two knobs look identical but the instrument light knob increases brightness as the mouse wheel is scrolled up whereas the Stby Attitude works in the opposite sense.
It’s good to have another helicopter available for missions and nice that one of the free make good a/c is a rotorcraft but it could be so much better.
Different devs
I guess I’m an outlier. I own every Helo you can buy, including the new MH-60 and S76++, have been flying a good while and have invested in good controls - Moza AB9, Virpil collective, dampened pedals. Although not a standout, I do not have major issues with the flight model or control of the EC135 and enjoy flying it.
Sounds are average - but I just open both windows and get stereo chopper in the cockpit which is fine for me. Other things can be improved for sure, but this fits a nice spot in the game’s helicopter lineup and handles well. The yaw on takeoff is indeed a bit weird, but after a few tries I now lift off smoothly with about a 10-15% left rudder movement hold. I don’t know what the real right rotor bias is like in this helo - it definitely has a control difference between right and left. Transition to straight flight feels heavy as the 135 should and weight and balance seems appropriate for me.
Everyone’s perception is different - and I know from experience that one’s controls and time in helo’s makes a difference in how I like or don’t like a bird. I’ve been flying this most of the night and, like the 407, believe it has a good foundation and will get better either through developer or modders elsewhere.
AFAIK this GNS bug has been since release of the MSFS 2024. Push ENT immediately after GNS boots up. If you wait too long, it doesn’t respond anymore, unless you restart avionics.
Thank you for the heads up - I adjusted my report.
It flies really really weird compared to other helicopters in the sim.
This thing flies really weird.
And the sounds are a joke, a RC model chopper sounds better, LOL.
I want to add something that so far has not been mentioned.
No rotor sync in Multiplayer. Meaning when you fly with others, you don’t see their rotors spinning.
It’s getting pretty tiresome with this stupid thing that’s been with us since the launch of msfs2020.
And the rotors and props are synced in MP on SOME aircraft, so we know it is possible.
To see the latest heli coming out, still has this annoying “feature” really, really bugs me
An all round terrible addition, how this got through QA and was “Tested by real pilots” I will never know, it’s shockingly poor quality, in it’s current state it’s not worth the bandwidth it takes to download.
No. This is just as fundamentally screwed up as B407, and you simply got used to it.
Core cyclic behavior is wrong, when you input left stick it outputs left and forward, loading the disc, increasing torque and offsetting yaw, kicking your nose around.
With aft stick its the same principle, opposite direction. Excessive disc unloading, torque reduction, and induced yaw (in opposite direction).
This is the helicopter equivalent of a car with misaligned wheels
Just watched the short interview from Gamescom where Jörg says they had 3 real helicopter pilots to get the (flight) model right, so I wonder if it’s really that wrong?
Only tested a few minutes yesterday so I don’t have a proper opinion yet; and also I’m no pilot and not very experienced in sim helis (yet)
The pilot did not mention the flight model with one word. Only Jörg did.
