The installed MS plugin will not start (latest version) with or without the 2024 sim open.

Thanks to another user, You need to download the logitech driver and when once the game is running click on it and everything will work fine. You still won’t see them in your control listings, but they will all work. Downloads - Flight Switch Panel – Logitech Support + Download

You just need to run
C:\Program Files\Logitech\Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin\LogiMicrosoftFlightSimulator.exe -r and your panel will start to work.
I tested copying my exe.xml from MSFS 2020 folder to MSFS 2024 folder and worked, now my Logitech Panel is working also got IVAO Core running on sim startup.

I have 4 flight instrument panela, the Saitek yoke, rudder and a second throttle quadrant. and the Multi panel, switch panel and radio panel. When I first started with 2024, only the yoke, rudder and throttles were working. I fiddled around and was able to get everything working by using the Logitech Flight simulator.exe app that I downloaded from Logitech and need to use to get the FIP and panels working in FS2020. You have to start the app before starting either 2020 or 2024. I did that, started 2024 and, Voila everything worked. I was even able to set up my multi-monitors. Super easy. Although nothing in FS 2024 is intuitive.

In 2020 if you used Spad.Next you couldn’t have the Logitech software loaded. Has that changed in 2024? I haven’t seen anything to that effect yet. I haven’t gotten that far with the Bravo as I am still struggling with settings for other peripheral hardware and camera view settings.

Had the same. Just download the Logitek MS plugin. Run it every time you start MSFS24. The panels aren’t aware of a sim being run. But the sim knows about the panels. It’s a communication error basically.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes, Logitech Switch panel, and comms panels are not recognized.

Seems obvious but I ran into the same issues:

Works fine for me - along a Streamdeck XL

Hope that helps,

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• The panels work fine on the Flight panel testpage and in MS2020. (In the meantime, I deinstalled MSFS2020).

  • As soon as i start a free flight (airplane), for example, all lights on the flight panel go out and all buttons are without function. In the sim / Control I don’t see the flight panel.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I tried this and the panel still doesn’t work.

Downloaded current version
Executed plugin before loading the sim.
Executed after loading the sim.
Same results no panel.

Have I missed something?

Thank You

For me the panels works fine if I start up the logitech add on.
But some of the switches is not working. For me it is Avionics Switch and Fuel pump. (tested on a Cessna 172)
Multipanel and Radiopanel seems tp work fine.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I have the same issue with my Logitech Radio Panel not showing up in the device list or turning on. It is connected via USB. My PC Specs are NVIDIA 4080 Super Graphics Card, AMD 9900 Processor 64GB of RAM. Other peripherals connected and working properly are Honeycomb Alpha, Bravo Controllers and CH Rudder Pedals.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I do have exactly the same problem with the radio stack & the autopilot in MSFS2024. I don’t recall seeing those components in the MSFS2020 software, but they were working well with the small drivers (or scripts) provided by LOGITECH !

I do have found a solution for MSFS2024 and it works every time. You have to start that same little drivers (or scripts) provided by LOGITECH only once you started the sim.
So, first you start the sim completly and then start the little drivers (or scripts)

It work for me while waiting for a fix !

There isn’t really a “fix” for this as such. For FS2020, when you install the Logitech driver, it appends or edits the XML for the MSFS executable to call and run the Logitech companion app which provides panel functionality. Since you already have that driver installed, the Logitech installer doesn’t know to do the same for FS2024.

You can just manually start the Logitech panel app when you load the sim, which is what I have been doing. Presumably you can manually add the same command to run the Logitech app in the XML for FS2024, but I haven’t tried it.

I was going to try the manual edit but could not find the XML file for 2024.
Any idea where it may be?

On my system, it’s here:

C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

(Of course, [USERNAME] is whatever your user account is named on your PC)

Worth noting: this is the filepath on my system, even with a custom sim installation on my E: drive.

EDIT: While I was looking for the exe.xml file, I went ahead and edited it. I can confirm my radio panel is working now in FS2024 without needing to manually start the Logitech plugin.
