This bug is currently under active investigation (See above the bug-logged tag). This issue is intermittent, and as some users have suggested, some workarounds work, and some work for only a short amount of time before the issue appears again. Our team is working on finding out the root cause.

Logitech trackball mouse with Xbox series x, tracking of mouse freezes buttons still responsive. Sometimes reboot of game works, reboot of Xbox always recovers.
Happening on every flight now, but everything freezes for me. Only thing I can press is the Xbox button and then quit game.
Guess I will have to use controller with my hotas till sorted. Gutted as mouse is perfect for instruments. I want the velocity one, but not paying that price till I can use a mouse

I may of found a work around but need to do more flights to check.
I took all camera button bindings of the mouse and it seems to help. But like I said not had chance to test it fully. This is deffo not ideal as using my mouse for free view is good I will have to get it on my stick buttons some how.

Yeah lets hope so, it only took them 6 months since launch on Xbox to finally acknowledge that there is a problem, really disappointed about that. But lets hope this time it will be a priority and gets fixed.

Same probleme here.
My way for solving it (works at 90%) :
you can now generate a flight plan and fly.All these workarounds have been posted before and for some they work but for most they wont and if they work then most of the time its only for a short time.
I had this problem when caching was disabled. I have not encountered this with caching enabled. Perhaps this coincidence is accidental. Maybe not.
No this issue also exists with both enabled and disabled cache. At least this issue is now in development focus and there is a little hope existing that this issue will be solved soon.
Fired up the sim today after a while, and also experiencing mouse issues: on the world map I can no longer use the mouse to drag the globe around. Zooming in and out with the scroll wheel still works though.
Hi Guys, So glad I’m not the only one with mouse issues. I first started with a wireless mouse and after a while it stopped working, me thought that this could be a connection issue so plugged in my old trusted wired mouse and bugger me same issues, nothing. I do hope they get this sorted
same here new to xbox vetran fs x player no mouse inop tried everything read some threads no help the moment I touch that left stick its gone, like it inhibts the mouse that some you think would be an easy fix

Hello guys, i found a workaround for this issue in a facebook group. If your mouse freeze, open a different game. I already tried this 3 times and they worked getting my mouse control again. Im not sure about this but i recommend you to open a game/app that have mouse compability.
What i do is when i realized that my mouse was gone, i paused msfs and opened halo infinite and then switched back immediately, when i switched back to msfs it was working. Next time i get this issue I’ll try it with Microsoft edge to avoid a possible game crash or the game closing.
EDIT: it doesn’t work with Microsoft edge
This workaround was posted many times and it is not a solution, Sometimes I have to do this workaround 7 times in 1 flight not really a fix for it not even a good workaround. Its been posted like 8 times already

Same here. Reported it through zendesk and I never heard anything back. I have mostly given up using it. Not any issues with the keyboard though. Is anything else on Xbox supposed to have mouse support, like an app?
