They just confirmed this week Q&A on Twitch, minute 1:17:30, that they have been requesting permission for all planes and right now there is just 1 left pendding to accept, so when that one agree, it will be possible to improve premium and premium deluxe aircraft.
I think this is really good news!
Yes, very good news! Wonder who the last one is.. Well nag them and not buy any aircraft from them if they not agree.

Well, Marketplace airports have encrypted files and cannot be opened by programs like Littlenavmap. That’s why i would love this proposal to include airports and sceneries from the Marketplace

In the latest Development Update (SDK Update section), it has been confirmed that the CFG files of Deluxe/Premium aircraft will no longer be encrypted starting with Sim Update 10.

- For Premium & Deluxe aircraft, the config files (.cfg) will no longer be encrypted. You’ll be able to access them!
Let’s hope they give third-party Marketplace aircraft publishers at least the option to do the same. There are some mostly-awesome add-ons that could be even better with a little community tweaking.
While I agree, as a owner of one of these addons, that would be great , it might not be quite so attractive to the developer.
Developers may well find themselves dealing with a massive rise in Tech Support requests, from those who have modded their planes, and then found thing have got broken.

We really need cfg-files of the Local Legends and Famous Flyers as well. Imagine a modded Ju52!
Very good news. I’m looking forward to getting a lot more good content in the Marketplace. A very good development, hope in the future there will be more efforts to make the Marketplace third party friendly, because that way everyone wins. The XBOX players get more content, and Asobo/ Microsoft cuts extra percentage wise on all sales.

There would also be a benefit to unlocking the same configuration files for third-party Marketplace planes. However, that’s a different topic, because those are the property of the publishers.
I created a separate topic to discuss that, since this one will likely be closed soon now that this feature has been improved and implemented. Would love to see folks discuss this possiblity and add ideas/advantages/concerns over there. (Especially would love to hear third-party airplane publisher thoughts!)

Guessing not, as I don’t believe it applies to any paid Marketplace add-on aircraft, even if they’re published by MS.
