4 updated products on MSFS 2024? What’s going on here? Also, why aren’t we able to see backlog numbers for MSFS 2024?

I can imagine nobody wants to do this, but somebody has to draw the short straw and recompile the pending list of lifetime FS2020 bugs and votes so it can be posted here.

At least the CRJ v2 update after a month made it to one simulator, so that’s a win. Hopefully the wait isn’t too much longer for those using 2024.

I don’t know why I keep checking these updates. Feels like I’m wasting my time scrolling through pictures of MScenery slop.

Isn’t that annoying! I wonder who has given them these marvellous ratings if they are not working? Do they pop them up for sale with an existing rating which encourages folk to buy?

They’ll be in the marketplace but hidden from the public to test. And they’ll be review padding before they go ‘live’.

Why no production name’s on the 2024 tiles?

Is this your fix, for the 2020 Captinsim spamming

Unfortunately, this feedback comes up every week in this discussion thread.
It has been communicated to the powers that be. Feel free to ask a question about it in the May developer stream.

I can’t understand how MScenery is having so many weekly releases while at the same time addons such as Cowan’s R22 is still marked as not available because in theory it still needs to be tested by MS or whatever. Who in charge of the MP is giving green light to this empty addons and ignoring the ones that are really worth it?

This is more or less what I was thinking reading the update. What’s interesting to me, at this time, is to see how big the backlog of 2024 is. Both in terms of new, native 2024 products, but also 2020 items, waiting for approval.

Aside from the weird Stuttering on landing fixed for me by putting Foliage on High and the definite decrease in FPS which is not affecting me too much MSFS 2024 is making leaps and bounds in the right direction. It is and will be a truly amazing SIM.

Personally that shouldn’t be allowed for them to rate before the buying customer has a chance to give a true reflection of it’s worth.

I “think” the ratings are combined between 2020 and 2024. They already existed in 2020 and were ported over to 2024 and the ratings came with it. Or if it’s new, 2020 players have been able to use it and rate it, which also shows in the 2024 marketplace.

This is my understanding, as well. The ratings from 2020 carry over to 2024, which isn’t necessarily a good thing. An aircraft that was working well in 2020 might work less so in 2024. And the rating should reflect that.
