I was too optimistic assuming 2024 will be playable in March 2025 
Now I just wait for new promised world map for 2020ā¦

Wow the steam ratings are very mixed for 2D and VR too.
So many people robbed of vast time and money.
Its not airworthy for over half the customers.

I got my Logitech panels working again and My Logitech autopilot panel dose not work and connecting it to the max 8 crashes fs2024 for the modern jetliners in the sim so I basically canāt use the modern airliners which was the whole point of buying an basic autopilot 
In general I wasnāt a fan of flight sims and tried MFS2024 only because I had Game Pass. Well, since then Iām not launching any other games and even bought a flight stick (now Iām starting to think about throttle and pedals).
Career mod is buggy as hell, but in most cases it just make me smiling.
Pilot head outside my plane, passengers sitting on landing gear, cars on runway, e.t.c. Only critical bug I found was broken helicopters certification missions, but itās fixed right now (at least for me).
I think need to add more tutorials about company creation and info about it.
You want to buy company, game says its 10000 credits but game doesnāt tell you that you actually need a lot more to buy a plane for new company. For this you need to dig forums.
Also career mode is too much unforgiving. If you crashed, need to start grinding credits for new plane. Realism, butā¦
Thanks to Asobo, we donāt have a few weeks to get out of hospital after crash.
So for now, I continue to fly and waiting for more patchesā¦

ok, consistently specific things are happeningā¦airport: klax parking: gate 150; aircraft: B748; taxiingā¦more than once I have increased the throttle to taxi around a corner and the throttle went to takeoff thrust causing me to end up hitting a pole which caused the simulator to stop and say that i damaged the airplane; when in free flight to get the brakes to release on pushback I have to press ESC to get out of free flight and immediately press ESC again to get back in to the same flight that I just left and in doing so the brakes are released and the pushback commencesā¦i believe that these types of problems are happening to me because the data is not streaming fast enough, but I donāt really know for sureā¦if the gig is that 2024 streams āmoreā data than 2020 did, then I suggest that the creators of 2024 change the streaming process to the 2020 wayā¦if that means allowing the downloading of the aircraft to oneās hard drive then so be it. i believe that too much data is being sent to my computer at one time causing all data is sent to run slower than what is required to be affective. If anyone has a fix for slow data transfer, please let me know 'cause I believe that slow data streaming is my problem on my pc, and I thought for sure that my pc met the requirements to run this game. (maybe not) please do not stop supporting 2020 until everthing can be hashed out with 2024.
one more thing, I also believe that using āliveā weather is a problem tooā¦I have had successful flights when the computer puts me on the runway (i didnāt designate a parking spot for taxi) and the default weather is usedā¦then the simulator seems to function correctly more often
Is there supposed to be a store? When do we get our liveries back?

I have had a few times now where live weather is disengaged when I start a flight. I have to go to weather tab and turn it on. It seems random when it decides to turn itself off. Maybe itās just each new sim session it forgets to turn live weather on. I canāt quite put my finger on it.
Re streaming, I have a ridiculously slow ADSL (27Mbit/sec) connection and although I see some load in, itās generally fine. Any streaming issues have seen have usually been server/access related, or when going to do a challenge where there may be a lot of scenery to load in for a very localised area. Worst case is Grand Canyon for me. FS2024 also lets you start flights/challenges etc before scenery is fully loaded in may lead to faster flight access time, but may ultimately be a bad choice in hindsight.
In a future update when the 3rd party devs have checked compatibility. It was delayed from initial release for a āfew weeksā. NOt sure how liveries will go as FS2024 seems to be picky on how liveries are handled with the new aircraft variant choices in their new selection screen.

The Premium Deluxe comes with more aircraft and hand-crafted airports than the Deluxe.
It is far cheaper to buy the Premium Deluxe than trying to upgrade from the Deluxe to the Premium Deluxe at a later date.

I finally had my first mostly successful msfs 2024 flight with āliveā weather (Boeing 747-800 passenger).
notes that I actually wrote down that are fixes and issues that I am having with 2024:
!. Have not figured out how to save the livery markings on the airplane.
2. Seat Belt Sign does not produce a chime when turning it off and on (it should produce a chime; msfs 2020 does)
3. This error happened most of the flight: āError accessing live air traffic data, retryingā¦ā
4. I reset my data stream from unlimited to 100Mbit, which I guess helped in the simulator response, although this setting is still a little āunsmoothā compared to msfs 2020.
5. I have a pitch trim conflict which needs to be resolvedā¦hopefully i can find a fix for that. Now I have 2 NUM #s doing the pitch trim in the same direction. Also, using the pitch trim on the yoke causes the yoke to disappear completely.
NOT GOOD!
Still, overall the simulator is not as smooth as 2020, so I am going to try the next step lower in data stream and see what that does to stability or what other negative things happen by a 50Mbit setting.
Flight simulator X and many versions before (maybe going back all the way to FS98) had a flight analysis tool to see a plot of your route, vertical profile etc. For me as a student this was super useful to check whether my holding actually looked like a holding pattern and not a potato 
. Seemingly elemental function for any flight simulator, yet not implementedā¦
When it comes to basic functionality, MSFS2020 and 2024 are a regression from previous simulators. The inability to set a precise visibility or RVR to practise low visibility operations, ATC is a complete mess, etcā¦ If they were serious about the simulation aspect, this would have been fixed long time ago.

After 5 days of problems I managed to install the FS finally, but when running it, it misses the Boeing 737 MAX 8. Is this an extra download or is it hidden somewhere?
I only have Boeing 747-8 and some fighter Boeing
Today I had notification in the FS24 menu that more of my dlc had been made available. On looking I indeed had a lot of my missing FS20 airports show up and I was able to enable them. Awesome.
Sorry my PC FS 2024 does not look like this I have strange 3 menus only with a lot of graphics and junk no practical things
Also no option to set multi monitor except in āExperimentationā menu in General and that does not work either, lot of problems at the moment.
What version do you have?

I have the premium deluxe edition, but the Max is in the Standard edition.

I am confused, have been using flight simulators for over 20 years, but I am used to P3D where you have much more options than in MSFS
Cannot even control my full size flight sim in MSFS 2024, no access to control panels I built nothing, sad
But I spent a few hours today trying to find the 737, all passenger versions I have are a few Airbus versions and a single Boeing the 747-8i
737 is not there
If you are missing stuff, Iād think about a re-install as it should be there. You should be able to go to Marketplace->My Library and type into the search bar 737 and it should show up. If it doesnāt then something must have gone wrong with the install.

Please fix free flight first! Then the SDK and whatever comes next is irrelevant.
