Feel sorry for all the simmers that are not having a good experience. My last 2 weeks were perfect beta and non-beta, no stutters, no sound crackling. Quest3 VR via VD hvec10, Godlike, XR toolkit with ohnespeed update mask 75%x90%. Sharpening XR off, VD off, in sim AMDfidelity 150. Not even ghosting with 450kts low flying 300ft.
All planes, small, airliner, jets with SSW steady 72 frames, with SSW disabled steady 50+ frames. Settings: buildings, water, resolution, glass cockpit on high, everything else medium, tlod 50 300ft, 400 above 5000ft, olod 150 below 1000ft, 10 above 5000ft. But I do avoid three airports, JFK EGLL and EHAM.
Considering my medium system it is possible to enjoy the sim.
4070S i5 13400F 32GB DDR-3600, m.2 dedicated drive, Wifi 6e, provider 200mbits.
I did build my system with all components in the same range of performance. Fans stay quiet, temps never above 58c.

They’ve either been over aggressive with LOD, to improve performance, or there are bugs with some objects that only appear when you are much closer to them. I see that all the time, examples being the yellow taxiway markings which only appear when quite close to them, unaffected by LOD settings. Those objects have very simple geometry, and really should be visible much further out than that. The wind socks also.

For me it’s runways and as you say taxiway details that are all to often blurry especially when landing. I’m honestly fed up landing on blurry runways. They should have priority and be streamed in ahead of other things. I can see whole airport terminal details loaded in ahead of the actual runway details, which is just crazy.

What do you have you TLOD/OLOD set to?
My TLOD is on 200. OLOD on 200 as well. (3090). Dynamic FPS is off.
Agreed. And the LOD could probably be increased if they’d simply reduce the ridiculous amount of trees and static aircraft. I landed at a small local airport that I’ve visited IRL many times, and there were easily 30 or more aircraft on the ramp. I can’t recall ever seeing more than 2 or 3 in real life.
Settled in to my new appartement in southern France and now all is set up with my new 8gb internet connection.
Just had a good flight in a Tiger Moth around a big town not far from me and it all worked perfectly. AMD showed my FPS was 76, scenery fantastic and correct for the time of year around here.

I’m on xbox series x, Have a dns setup and ip fix, plus gb/gb fiber connection with asus rog router, i have zero issues, even when flying 13h freelance missions in the boeing 737 MAX 8.
And i really meen zero issues. All i do to secure good performance is that i always shut down the game completely and restart my console Completely between missions, until the time we get the possibility to download the complete route before mission start this is a well working workaround.
Even if its a bit annoying, but i get to enjoy the game whitout mayor bugs or lag

8gb internet connection? Per second? Woah. How much does that cost?
I’ll hazard a guess that you use the PMDG 737(s). I’m also waiting for them to be supported in 2024, but it’s PMDG that needs to update them, I’m afraid
They have to do something about this streaming thing. I was flying around Las Vegas and it was too much for the sim. Maybe I have to adjust some settings, I don’t know, but everything on ultra it could not keep up with loading the photogrammetry. This was never an issue in FS2020. Disclaimer: nothing wrong with my internet connection.

The PMDG 737 works in msfs2024. There are a few quirks and some bindings have changed but its certainly flyable and fps are great. Spawning on a runway works best I think which I know isn’t ideal but if you are impatient like me than its great to have the plane in MSFS2024 even if its not perfect yet.
I can’t believe this is not fixed still. If i were a developer and see this on any social media or forums, i would sit and work on it until it is fixed fully. Do we need to Vote for this also for fix? I think i saw 100+ reddit posts about this.

The only thing I can think of is that FS2024 is too complex to solve this in 1 or 2 weeks and the 5000+ bugs Jorg told us about were easier to fix and had more priority than the things right in our face, otherwise their process is too complex.

Fenix 320 strobes not reflected by clouds, haze and fog in dusk, dawn sunset time- MSFS or Fenix bug?
Really? Gasp, I can’t believe that there are truly THAT many…
Are you sure there isn’t an extra “0” in that number?
Just look at the dev stream from a few weeks ago.
