Broken again - wont load - cant believe its the CDN for loading assets as Azure should be fine - there must be some actual cloud functionality thats getting overloaded - is this the future of Xbox/Windows gaming?
and that server seems to be fixed. I got logged into the sim main page in <5 mins tonight which was impressive. Trying to start a flight on the other hand not so much. Their data streaming servers must be what are struggling with demand, which is the real news beyond the specific logfile server that was at issue initially. We can now log on but fly nowhere. Maybe Iāll just check out the UI menus tonight.
The world map doesnāt show details like FS2020 does when zoomed in, so you know there must be a streaming issue. Iāve now launched a flight and 20 minutes later no sign of it starting. So this is the new realty we are facing.
I managed to get a flight to start this morning at 5.45am UT (a lower demand time) so itās definitely server/demand related.

No its nothing to do with settings, it seems its a cloud thing, when the game loads and you dont push and buttons fior a long time, the gane reverts to keyboard mode! This is actually something that happens in 2020 the last year too, but only when you pause the game too long.
So making sure I move the stick during loading now seems to do the trick, if anyone else has trouble with the controller on cloud.
You know its wrong if it does not change view at the āselectā button.
Edit: no, that was not enough! Just did all that and everything seemed great until I am about to fly away and all buttons is crazy mess!
Good thing is all my 2020 suddenly showed up! And dont even need to install them!! Crazy!
But cant fly them if this controller mess wont get fixed!
Day 2 in the 97% club reset twice , not impressed hope someone getting there cards for this , we may be a unique community of @15 million around the world they say but we know a wrong un !

Seems to be the norm these days with so many big businesses, no issues with payment taking and marketing though. Disappointing.

What a mess. āLow bandwithā message keeps popping up, controls menu is a chaos, weird camera angles cannot be changed..

So I ended up having to ALT-F4 the sim to get out of my non loading flight (after waiting 45mins for it to start).
The boot time is super fast though from start into the menus. With an empty community folder right enough, but Iām timing it at about 3min 55sec. If you are seeing longer than that maybe itās time to try a repair and reset on your install.
Now, if only I could actually start a flight. Browsing the menus and setings it is for me tonight it would seem.
I kind of figured out the controller UI. Itās still not super intuitive and kind of a pain that you have to look through every controller each time you setup a new airplane (with a different control configuration) to make sure there arenāt dual bindings. Then you have to shut it off or change the profile. Like, I get it, but wonky. Once itās setup well, itāll probably be a lot better.
Providing some feedback from this morning, Xbox Series X.
- Mouse control needs an update. Right clicking defaults to a down view and spins. Not all clicks are registered, especially during a walk around
- During my intro flight the Bonanza has no engine sounds, completely silent
- Started to get the hang of control mapping but its extensively different than 2020. Changing my keyboard to 2020 settings doesnāt seem to do anything.
- I hope this is still a server issue but flew around the New York City area and it was essentially Minecraft. 2020 looks much better
- Blackshark didnāt update any of the Bing imagery for 2024? I flew past an area that was a construction site in 2020 which was completed in 2022 and its still a construction site all these years later in the sim?
- Tried the A320v2 and CTDed out of KJFK
Going to try again later with another flight and airline.

Ok, this really is a joke. Spent the whole night and I got past the login queue and for about 15 hours Iām still stuck at Customize Identity screen. Opened a ticket on zendesk but I bet there is a very high demand already, so wonāt expect any answer anytime soon. 
I was going to vote but itās been closed off.
Very disappointed in Asobo/Xbox Gaming. MSFS stuck on 97%, went away, reinstalled the game, logged back on. still the same issues. Wish I could convay how I feel about thisā¦ I donāt normally pre-order games but I decided to pre-order MSFS2024 as I put over 300 hours into MSFS2020. Now iām deeply regretting this. No clue why it had to be made āall cloudā when itās clear as day itās not ready for release.

1.CouldnĀ“t start due to Server Overload on Day One.
2. Can Start MSFS24, Menu works, impossible to start a Flight due to LOW Bandwidth on MS Servers so far.
3. CTD after waiting while loading 5mins in Menu to start a flight
4. Waiting for fixes and telling buddies, to hold on, not to jump on this Sim at this State.
My cents.
Got a High End PC plus good Internet Bandwidth, , very disappointed atm, that its impossible to play this game.
But I have hopes, that they will get this thing on the right way.
My fault to buy and try on release version.

I can get in to the game but canāt load in to a flight. Bandwith too low is all i get but my internet is fine its the servers that are borked. A complete and utter ā ā ā ā show and nothing from these ā ā ā ā ā ā that thought this would be a good idea.

My general feeling about the game is that within 5 hours of being downloaded I requested and received a refund for the $200 that I paid for this train wreck called FS2024. It was a slap in the face that we had to wait hours on end for a poorly planned and executed launch. Until this server debacle is solved there is no such thing as a quick flight when you could be in queue 10 mins 
or more likely 1 hour plus and thatās just to get in. The next slap in the face was that not a single controller works in the game, without spending hours tweaking all the settings, even settings you had no idea needed to be setup - again this was a huge failure on Microsoft / Asoboās part. Even the graphics once in look like 2020 but with nicer trees?!? This whole thing reeks of āhey this project is getting expensive and we need some return on investment, even though itās a good year out from completion. Letās sucker some Guinea pigs to pay us while we finish itā. For that reason I requested my money back, when they have completed their job and put out a working product worthy of $200 then Iāll be back but not before then. Small issues I can understand, but none of these issues are small.

Feeling everyoneās pain here. I Paid Ā£200 for the aviator edition and I got the 97% thing on the 19th, today the 20th, the game will not play - I get the menus, but trying to use free flight results in a crash to desktop, or an aerial view of a static map without any progress to gameplay.
I had enough, at this price it should be perfection, so asked for a refund, which was refused because I have had too many refundsā¦I have not had any refunds!
I spent some time talking to Microsoft support on the phone, which was not productive, as they accept I have not had any refunds, but having recent refunds is the reason I cannot have a refund.
Not impressed that I am down Ā£200 with nothing to show for itā¦having tried to get it working on PC and XBox.
