I plan to buy it, mostly for the reason you mentioned about the lack of the sim’s mission flexibility.
But user opinions would be nice.
Head over to their Discord, there is a general discussion, bug reporting and a user mission sharing channel.
I tried a few of the included missions, it is very promising, and it really seems to work with other helicopters too.
Will need more time to test, but I may even be able to realize my dream of a Christmas tree harvesting mission with this kit…

That’s seriously impressive flying skills. Thanks for sharing.
Hello, I realise it’s early days with this great addon, at some point in the future would Miltech be open to collaborating with VPforce Force Feedback software developer? There was a discussion on the VPforce Discord regarding the a collaboration that took place with HPG regarding their 145/160 helicopters, I’ll not pretend to understand the discussion below, please find…
‘That is very specific to the B407 mod created by SimFocus (and any helicopters that may use their SAS module in the future). Much in the same way that the HPG type is specific to the HPG 145/160.
In order to do anything useful with TelemFFB, they would need to expose the SEMA data and provide a way to interrupt the AFCS with ‘hands on’ signaling. Or, provide some other means (via simconnect) that a FFB joystick could emulate the AFCS movements and interact with the system.’
That’s what I call realistic and immersive. ![]()
Seriously, though. Awesome video, and +1000 piloting skill.
Well, first time I hear about them. Not too familiar with force feedback hardware.
Will take a look. In any case, this is a discussion for: [ANNOUCEMENT] Miltech Simulations MH-60, in Partnership with Blackbird! - #114 by dagwit00001
This is very possible with Mission Hub, though requires some integration on our side. Perhaps a special mission around Christmas time? ![]()
Ah my bad, I thought I was in the aircraft thread. Thanks for the response
What exactly would you need to integrate?
Just created a quick test mission with Taog’s H500C, this mission system is just amazing, especially that it works with all helicopters.
One issue I see which would prevent me from properly flying the Christmas trees (other than my lack of skills) is that (at least with the H500) the cargo seems to be always hanging vertically, no matter what I do, so something like this in the picture would not be possible. Not sure if this an FS2024 limitation or the mission hub needs some adjustment:
Yes, currently (V1.0.0, proof of concept) is always vertical and stiff. We will improve over time.
As for integration, it would be only changing the simobject really, adding a tree instead of a pallet. We have an in-house team to produce these 3D assets.
I think the concept is proven, this thing definitely has the potential to become what the built-in missions should have been. The biggest advantage I see is that it gives users and contributors all the freedom they need to implement realistic, fun missions without all the annoyances of the built-in career mode missions.
Exactly. I have basically no interest in doing the Career Mode grind - I just want to go fly missions.
Firstly, let me say that I’m super happy with Mission Hub — it’s the best add-on ever! And I say that even though I believe there’s still a huge amount of potential for further development. I really hope the development continues, and that at some point there will be a version 2.0 that takes advantage of many more possibilities!
It took me a while to understand Mission Hub, but it’s slowly starting to open. Still, I’m not sure I fully understand all its capabilities and constraint yet. Yesterday I tried to create the following mission:
· A sinking ship whose crew has escaped into three drifting life rafts (simobject), which are being carried away from the ship by wind and currents. The task is to rescue the rafts one by one, in free order, to a nearby coast guard vessel that happens to be relatively close and heading toward the sinking ship. The mission is completed when a helicopter has hoisted all crew members and taken them, raft by raft, to the coast guard vessel.
The following observations came up while working on the mission:
· The biggest problem in creating the mission was that triggers can’t be tied to an object so that they move along with it. I would have liked to set it up so that you have to hover above the raft for two minutes, after which the raft disappears and the crew must be taken to the coast guard vessel. After that, you move on to rescue the next raft. This worked fine with static rafts, but not with moving rafts.
· Simobjects should be able to move in a random direction. Of course, in a mission like this, it would be even better if the randomness could be defined within a certain range, since wind direction is the main factor affecting drift.
· Simobjects should be placeable at a random location within the range, just like rescue scenes.
· It would be great if Mission Hub could track the completion of several subtasks and declare the mission complete once all subtasks are done.
· It should be possible to define a mission as being directly tied to a specific simobject, without the tasks being bound to predefined like recue scenes (→ simobject rescue).
But all in all, once again, excellent work from Milltech!
Grazie
Moderator Edit:
Regarding flight dynamics, how do objects behave? I noticed that the bambi does not swing with the movements of helicopters and the physics of the weight do not change when lifting. The missions of msfs24, on the other hand, are very realistic in their movements and flight dynamics. I would like an opinion on this aspect of game physics. Thank you
Quindi non funzionano bene le dinamiche di volo e la fisica degli oggetti che oscillano ai mivimenti del ciclico e il peso che cambia nei comportamenti dall’elicottero?
Moderator Edit: So the flight dynamics and the physics of the objects that oscillate at the movements of the cyclic and the weight that changes in the behavior of the helicopter don’t work well?
I had issues using it (dissappearing mouse pointer) and didn’t manage to fly a single mission because of that, so I haven’t tried again since purchasing it. I will wait for more updates before even trying again. I rather use the time to fly instead of wasting time on broken things.
I would like to purchase the UH 60 helicopter and the Mission Hub accessory. I would like some information:
Is a land SAR-HOIST mission available? (Mountain rescue for example)
Is a SAR mission available where a person missing on land needs to be found?
Does the developer plan to further develop Mission Hub? If so, what can we expect?
