Milviz A-1H Skyraider for MSFS!

One of my favorite aircraft! Cant wait to see it

This will be on the marketplace too.

Without weapons there. Not that that’s super important to me. But I do like doing a proper loadout for performance reasons.

Like many, I’m not a fan of the Marketplace, mostly for lack of receipt, lack of support, super long and inconsistent update times.. Thank you for selling on your own site and the advantages of that.

Happy Friday y’all
To celebrate, we got a little Skyraider tease for youšŸ‘€ We’re working hard to deliver the most cosmically godlike experience with this one! #sunsetshotsareunbeatable

We’re curious, do you guys prefer to fly classic planes, or more of the modern ones?

Have an awesome weekend !:star_struck:

Def classic.

Warbirds all day!

Classics without a doubt. I would say about 80% of my 3rd party MSFS hangar would fall into that category.

Classics for sure. Radials even better.

But having said that… I’d also enjoy having one of these in my virtual hangar…

Classic all the way!

Both. Not too much of one kind
For example, from you guys now,i would like a modern one, although the one you are showing now is somewhere in betweenšŸ„‚

I’m a sucker for the big radials so count me in. The Milviz Corsair has been one of my favorite add-ons, currently putting a lot of time in on the Asobo Texan, and would love to see a Mitchell or Trojan come to Flight Simulator some day.

Classics are always wonderful, but I would enjoy using them for general flying as well and as such would really appreciate an option much like civilian registered warbirds for a modern civilian avionics fit (especially autopilot) alongside a more classic fit.

Another thought here and maybe an alternative, might just be a list of simvars and what have you,to enable those functions for those with external hardware solutions.

Absolutely classics

Classics with option of gns430 or tablet with at least Alt and Hdg hold.

The map tray is not very helpful, and it is visually out of place and immersion breaking in the cockpit - IMO.

Classics for me.

Four reasons:

  1. Dripping with character.

  2. Possible to model systems that are complex and consequential, but realistically possible for a single pilot to manage.

  3. No computers in the workflow. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those ā€œiron men and wooden planesā€ snobs - I like modern systems and I like things that prioritize safety. And of course, if it wasn’t for computers, none of us would be here doing this. But I fly for recreation, and I get enough of computers and online systems during my workday. When I go sim flying, I’m ready for some handcrafted charm.

  4. Following on 2 and 3… it’s possible to have a really engaging, really satisfying 15-20 minute flight. I don’t have a lot of 2-3 hour blocks of time to set up and fly airliners or for that matter modern military aircraft, and I don’t have a huge amount of time to learn deep automated systems. In the real world I love airliners, but for practical reasons I can’t sim-fly them. A nice unstructured flight in a classic aircraft is exactly what I need at the end of a long day. It fits.

So… keep those classics coming…

I definitely prefer vintage classic planes. This thread might be a bit biased though as I doubt someone who is only interested in modern planes would be looking in here

Classic. I have enough G1000-equipped planes already in the sim to last me a lifetime!

And it’s fun to learn about aviation history by flying everything from Brewster Buffalos to Vickers Wellingtons to English Electric Lightnings to F7U Cutlasses to A-3 Skywarriors!

We got some exciting things brewing up at Milviz!:eyes:; here is a stormy tease of our upcoming Skyraider! ! :v:

It’ll be so much fun to have the Spad in MSFS. Takes that 3350 to spin such a massive four-bladed prop!

And - of course - to haul that ā€œspecial ordinance!ā€
