Hey I did my PPL and now should have some first missions to get some flying time to get to the point when I could do my first commercial licence but there is no mission even if the guy saying there is one mission. I did PPL few weeks ago and there was one mission that time but I got hard time to finish it as the plane keep climbing even with engine off. I left it to another time and now this mission is gone and I don’t have any. Stuck even before any commercial licence

I just did my PPL and tried to progress by doing the golden First Flight Mission. The problem is such mission is not showing on the map. I have a lot of other golden ones (VIP, Cargo, Skydiving…), but without the First Flight one, I’m basically stuck. Any one else with this problem?
Not saying you are wrong, but this shows you have not done the VIP Charter mission, and your log shows PRIVATE Charter missions. They are two different tiers of Charter missions, just like Light and Medium Cargo are two tiers.
There should be a single gold mission by your starting location. If not, and it has bugged, you probably would be better off just resetting your career and starting over. You haven’t really progressed anywhere yet.
`Missions don’t generate around your planes location for anyone. It’s not a bug. Move your pilot to new locations and new missions may appear. Save up doing employee runs to move your plane to another mission location.
That’s only your experience. I can play missions all day at level 85.
No, that is absurd. Of course missions should regenerate. They should regenerate everywhere. If they never regenerated then eventually you would have moved across the whole world and there would be no new missions.
They clearly regenerate, it’s just that buggy in how it does it, often leaving certain areas completely empty, or not generating certain mission types.
Very Good point It drives me crazy that we cannot move our planes ourselves. You should be able to just do a “Fly now” from your plane menu, Microsoft please add this. Also with a 3rd Career Mode it also includes general goods you can buy where you are at then fly them where they are in demand and sell for prophet.
I just started my Company I took a look at the map to see where missions were so I had my plane delivered there but it’s only available as an employee job, why can’t I fly that same mission but use my plane, and also most of my missions have now disappeared in both Freelance and Employee my reputation is a high A Rep, but now there’s no missions. I mean I guess if Their Company bid the flight they’d want to profit instead of a freelancer stealing the mission I guess I get that, but after I placed my plane all the available freelance missions were quite far away, and similarly I don’t have the money to transfer.
Bottom Line is Let us fly our purchased planes anywhere it would first of all add to the immersion and realism. oh there’s this job here, I’d better fly there to accept it. Also can we get a job filter option and plane filter option in career mode.
I have done it, I’ve also done the sky diving mission and sightseeing around Italy but it’s saying they’ve not been done.
Also in employee jobs I’ve only got cargo jobs, no ferry missions etc..
Yeah actually I think we’re all suddenly suffering from the same bug. I don’t know how you determined for sure that it says you haven’t done the gold missions, but I can confirm that looking at my EMPLOYEE map, there isn’t a single “First Flight, Flightseeing, Ferry Flight, or Charter mission” in the entire world for me. The gold missions haven’t re-appeared, but the missions they unlock have completely gone from my map.
At the moment in Employee mode the ONLY missions I have anywhere in the world are Cargo (much much less than normal), Skydivers (for more than normal), and Medevac.
Literally in the entire world I can’t find anything but those three missions in employee mode.
In freelancer mode, I have both cargo and charter companies, but there are only cargo missions. Like in employee mode, there isn’t a single charter mission anywhere in the world for me.
Clearly something has broken. I suspect the list of available missions comes from a server, not generated locally, so most likely something on the backend has gone udders up on us.
I thought the gold missions disappear once they’ve been completed?
It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s as simple as a year changing but which is stopping them from being generated.

They do, and they didn’t re-appear for me. Just the missions they unlock don’t seem to be showing up.
And yeah I would NOT be surprised if we just found a rollover bug haha
in this morning my VIP’s and a lot of my medium cargo missions just disappeared

Today no VIP, tourist or passenger missions are showing up?
What gets me is there is clearly some bug that is now blocking many of the mission types as of 1/1/25 but as a result of this bug many, many more missions of other types are showing up. This seriously makes me wonder if there are in fact lots more missions that are in the system that we normally aren’t seeing, perhaps because the results of a mission search are capped or something. This might explain why some of us never see certain mission types, because they are crowded out by others.
If I wasn’t so far along in the career mode, I’d be tempted to reset and only unlock certain mission types and ignore the others so they can’t pollute the mission list.
I just restarted and still don’t see any missions

I reset my career before realizing this bug was a global issue. Now I am totally soft-locked. The inaugural “First Flight” mission will not load, and it is impossible to progress even to getting my commercial license. Totally borked. GG, Asobo. Hope you’re all enjoying the holidays though.
While we’re at it, why are none of the Premium or Premium Deluxe planes available in career mode? What was the point of upgrading to a more expensive version?
I have 6 aircraft and 5 different companies, a mix of plane and Heli. All I seem to have is cargo missions now. No VIP, sightseeing or SAR missions anywhere on the globe.
