I recommend installing a debloated version of Windows 11 Pro.
Here’s the method I used, along with the Windows features I chose to NOT install. I prefer to have a local user login, not a Microsoft Windows login, and it was very easy using the method in the linked video. My computer (and FS2024) has been running very smoothly since I basically rebuilt it with a clean Windows install when I moved from a 5800X3D to a 7950X3D CPU.
I also highly recommend the free software ‘Addons Linker’ available on flightsim.to. In fact, I think it’s a “must have.” It’s easy to use, and can help keep your Community folder clean (especially if like me have a lot of 3rd Party addons.)
