Has MSFS 2020 been forgotten? Struggling to find and keep up with recent 2020 posts and discussions, perhaps drowned out by 2024? 2020 people we are still here.
Everyone is either complaining about 2024 or playing 2020
Not at all.
They should really split the forum into 2020 & 2024. Didnt make any sense why this was not implemented from the off.
Flying in both of them, different aircraft, add-ons, scenery in each. VFR in VMC only in 24 right now, it is not IFR capable yet IMO, too many bugs therefore unreliable on the gauges. While I prefer the new flight modeling in 24, on Series X a lot of stuff looks better in 2020, ironically.
I’ve been flying 2020 exclusively for over a week now and having fun doing it instead of troubleshooting. I’ll check back in with 2024 at some point, but I think it may be a while.
LouP
Of course it has been forgotten. Left to die… so we can move to 2024…unfortunately
I think their plan to host 2 versions is bad. Can’t dedicate resources for a good product.
It’s sad that both need work. I understand that MSFS needs to make new money. However the core of the Flight Sim is Now a game. And now it’s not even fun as a game anymore.
Has MSFS 2024 been forgotten?
After seeing so many relevant 2020 threads that have been closed for the last weeks I tend to think it has not been forgotten, but forced into retirement, or kind of.
Or still complaining about 2020
Click the link indicated to view posts tagged with 2020. The only problem though, is that many people are using both tags when only one is really appropriate.
Given that more people are playing FS2020 than FS2024 according to the Steam stats, hosting both versions is not “bad”.
I think it’s just getting drowned out in the noise. I have posted a few things relevant to FS2020 but haven’t seen much engagement compared to before.
I’ve seen recent 2020 posts that were unlisted from the forum by moderators.
Its the only one I have and use so I haven’t forgotten it. Nice to be able to just jump in and fly. Plus there are things I am still learning about and things I haven’t experienced yet so I am in no rush to switch.
Anyway, I just bought a copy of MSFS 2020 as a gift to a friend who loves the franchise. Also I will keep updating my little mods freely for the community. Not forgotten. No, sir.
And your evidence for this statement is …?
I recall that it was made very clear that they worked hard to hit as many items in 2020 as possible and that would be it, for the time being.
Jorg was also very clear that any improvements that could be ported to 2020 would be done.
I dont think he was lying. Do you?
It is split into categories.
