MSFS 2024 freezes when quitting to desktop

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Freeze when quitting to desktop. Always.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
No mods installed.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Always.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Press “Quit to desktop”
  2. MSFS hangs with music playing.

• I think the chance to CTD rises expontionally with ammount of activated packages and session length

  2. Create & fly free flight

  3. Exit to main menu

  4. Quit & exit to desktop

  5. Use end task to exit game

This is going to sound crazy but when you come back to the menu where the globe appears, you may notice a grid pattern appear and begin to disappear on the globe itself. When I try to exit to desktop before those grid lines clear, I lock every time. But if I wait for them to clear, I can click Exit to Desktop and it works. Not 100% but most of the time.
