It doesn’t sound like the H125 is going to be getting a trim function any time soon. I’m paraphrasing a bit from the livestream but Martial said in response to the bug/feature request -

“this is interesting this heli has no trim, so I was surprised to read {comments about no trim}. You get trim in h145 and some versions of H125 have trim, but not the one we have got in the sim so far, so not having trim seems pretty normal, and I don’t know what to say apart from that.”

Add trim to H125

Since it has now been confimed that no trim in H125 was intentional, this is now a wishlist item. H125 should have an option for trim. In many controller environments, flying this helicopter without trim is very aggrevating. My understanding is that H125 helicopters do have trim in real life, so it seems very fair to add this feature. It is a quality of life improvement. If people want to simulate a version without trim they can just not use the trim feature.

This argument is nothing more than a weak cover. E V E R Y other heli in the game, third party or not, has trim enabled, and furthermore, some of those helis don’t have it in real life either. If they’re going to hide behind realism, then how about getting us some functional VRS, or maybe make it so we can actually split the needles, or even have engine readouts that reflect what happens in real life. Odd how third parties can make this happen but the people who made the SDK can’t be bothered.

My aircraft sounds do not work for this helicopter. Also the trim function does not work so it is very difficult to control at speed

Hello,

The H125 in MSFS 2024 is not usable for me. As soon as I get 1 foot off the ground the H125 lean heavily to the left and flops over. I looked for binding issues and removed almost everything except for the X, Y axises.

Same results. To even come close to straight and level my X56 has to be almost fully to the right.

Anyone else have these issues?

Is the default view bugged for anyone else? Mine is sat under the fuselage and between the skids.

EDIT A restart of the sim resolved this.

It’s yet another (huge) bug with setting custom camera views in the new sim.

I just read the release notes for the latest patch and they did not mention anything about trim for the H125. Happy to hear that it seems to be added anyway, will try it tonight.

Trim yes, but the force trim button still has no effect.

For whatever reason it is under QUICK TRIM binding because the H125 has no autopilot? Neither does the Guimbal to my knowledge but there FORCE TRIM RELEASE works and QUICK TRIM flips it upside down. Asobo’s work isn’t very consistent .

I was basing my purchase of edition with H225 basing on my experience with the other helicopters in MSFS and after the experience of H125 and career mode it’s a no go. It’s just so bad in so many ways.
