It’s very frustrating when other planes are very usable - ie Vision Jet, Daher in the VIP Private missions, and I was really looking forward to trying it out, because it is pretty recognisable and a cool plane. Twin t/props are a pretty big feature of NZ aviation and I’m far more interested in the likes of these small and medium sized planes than I am in the jetliners
As a simmer who’s logged countless hours in your stunning world, the Beechcraft King Air 350i holds a special place in my heart. It’s my go-to for cross-country hauls, echoing its real-world fame as a versatile workhorse—over 6,300 still fly, racking up 63 million hours! However, in MSFS, it feels neglected: glitchy avionics, mid-flight blackouts, and a flight model that lags behind the stellar TBM 930 or Pilatus PC-12 NGX. I’d love to master its systems, but the outdated modeling leaves much to be desired.
Your updates to the TBM 930 made it a joy to fly, and I’m asking for the King Air to receive the same love. A refined flight model and modern Pro Line Fusion avionics could make it a star of Career Mode, keeping me and countless others glued to the sim. This was once your king of the hill; perhaps it’s time to restore its glory.
I must say that the Black Square King Air is actually quite nice!
just wished they had a glass cockpit version too
Like an EFIS-84 or full-blown replacment?
IIRC IRL they come with the ProLine Fusion, or the ProLine21
Both would be good IMO
The 350i does but not the original 300 / 350 (which is what Black Square emulates with the cockpit). The 350i in MSFS 2024 already has a glass cockpit. Just not a correct one.
it has a joke of a glass cockpit….
dont know how anyone saw that and said ‘‘ yup, its good to release like that’’
It has the right “hardware” for the Proline Fusion, but not the right system, it act like a cheap simulacre of garmin instead
Well, no transponder, no engine info, flies weird proppelers rotation at high altitude is unrealistic compared to many other planes, most of his panel is not functional, and the list goes…..
Let all hope when Jorg says there are fixes coming to approx 90 aircraft in SU4, the king air is one of them
I wouldn’t hold my breath. I think after PS5, Nintendo switch is next on the list
.
oh god please, i’m itching to fly it
For start I just count ten blades like in a DC-3 and hope for the best since I have no idea what’s happening. So far it works LOL
SU4 is here and I still see no engine instruments…
Are there release notes for the king Air in the SU4 release?
Aircraft updates are supposedly downloading later - have not looked at which though.
