On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being best), how do you rate your Overall Enjoyment of this aircraft?
This aircraft has a deep personal history for me, bit of a shame that inibuilds did not manage to capture this airplane in a way that does it justice.
Really hope they revisit it someday and take it from sub-par/ok territory to what we all expect from inibuilds in regards to products like the A310/A300 and soon a350!
If anyone does revisit this little rocket of a turboprop, I hope we can see a -60 Marquise and some freighter versions added to the line up!
You can still switch between cargo and passenger cabins with the EFB iPhone in the cockpit. I agree though it would be nice to get an update to 2024 standards and be able to switch in the menu when loading a flight. This would be fun in career mode
Overall flys pretty well in 2024 but there are a few glitches. Most noticeable is a wavy shimmering effect on the windshield in cockpit view. Also the pilots are not visible in external view.
It would be nice to get this updated for 2024 career mode
the bugs from 2020 carried over, but that is to be expected as its the same model, to name a few the nav source selector and its very hard to get it to track a flight path or a vor
2024 bugs are windshield glare (all a/c), screens too dim during the day except the 530, the beacon light seems to be inside the cabin, landing gear horn doesnt seem to work until its too late and you belly land (woooops!!)
This aircraft is very well made, and it does everything expected in a flight sim very well. I would say this was done by someone who has mastered the craft. It’s in the details.
You know, this bug was there in 2020. Select a plane in World Map as though you intend to fly it. Then go to Content Manager and delete the plane. Then look at your aircraft again in World Map. You will see that some liveries are now appearing as aircraft. If you restart the sim it cleans itself up.
I got it back. I had to enable two 2020 packs, answer “enable” to a bunch of messages, reboot the sim, then enable my Aviator upgrade, and reboot again.
Has anyone else noticed when you try to reverse the props on landing, the engines shut down entirely? I’ve had no problems with reverse on any other turboprops I’ve tried in 2024.
No I have not experienced this in the MU-2 with reverse thrust bindings to hardware controllers on Series X. What controller(s), commands and platform are you using, maybe others can help?
