You get a free aircraft

I believe that is depending on the location that you have selected on your device.

That can’t be working then, as I have the UK as my location.

Oh well, I guess there’s no real rush

not opened on microsoft store in france

They might have taken it down to fix it.

This may be the answer:

  1. Go to the Your info page of your Microsoft account dashboard:
  2. Select Edit profile info.
  3. Select the new Country or region from the dropdown list.

It let me pay money and says I own it, so it was open and appears to still be open.

Not that I’m afraid. My location was already set as UK there too.

So you managed to buy it. I take it you are stateside?

Maybe our PM has negotiated for the UK being the 51st state and hasn’t bothered to tell us? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes, US-based account.

I understand the ā€œAviator Editionā€ includes all the 2020 Marketplace sold MS aircraft such as the famous flyers etc. I already have pretty much all of those, so will my 2020 versions be usable in 2024 (if copied / linked across)?

They’ve indicated that existing Marketplace licenses for 2020 content will roll over to be installable through the Marketplace. Whether ā€˜Aviator’ gives you any other goodies beyond the set of first-party planes (or will do later), who knows.

You liked my post, which makes me wonder if you thought that the problem had been fixed?

Just to be clear, I still cannot change the country from the US, despite having my Windows and MS Profile set to UK.

No, just to let you know I noticed it.
I’m still looking for another solution for you, but you may want to put a Support request in!

I’ll leave it for now thanks.

I’m really not that desperate and I’d have thought that the shop might notice if it is only getting orders from the US.

Hello @azc60,

Yes, all your owned Marketplace content (including Local Legends and Famous Flyers) will carry forward to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 with no second purchase required.

Thanks,
MSFS Team

Where can I find the Canadair CL 415 preorder plane in 2020 ?

It would appear that I might well be desperate enough to submit a support request and have done so thanks.

Hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come.

on this new MSFS 2024 PC System Requirements page…

I think the Storage has been overlooked… 50 GB as the Ideal?

Does that mean no more huge downloads? Really content is processed in the cloud and just the 2D image is streamed (which would be efficient)? I worry about Azure and streaming reliability.

€ 200 ?!
