Sorry to but in but is synthetic vision working on PC12?
Yes but you have to turn it on in the PFD. It defaults to off.
I just started using this plane in Employee missions in Career mode. Iâve figured out how to create a flightplan in the plane, with waypoints. It flies nicely. But does anyone know how to get the flight plan from the EFB to show up when you hit âSend to Avionicsâ? Iâve tried a few times and it never works. Manually adding 6-7 waypoints on Xbox using my controller is a bit mad.
For me it works, once I am inside the plane with avionics starting up. Open the tablet and press send to avionics. The center screen shows then a prompt, if you want to activate the flight plan.
But it doesnât work if you send it during mission briefing.
Thanks you!! That worked!!
Does anyone know how to increase/decrease the zoom on the MFD for the PC12?
Thanks.
On the INAV there is a large cyan circle around your plane and on the left (9 oclock) position of that circle is a range reading. Click and drag on that to zoom in and out.
Got it! Thanks!
Where on the PFD is the synthetic terrain function?
Left hand side. Itâs one of the softkeys on the left. I donât have it in front of me so donât recall but if you just click every softkey going down the left hand side youâll find it
You need to click on âOVRLYâ just bellow the speed ribbon
Difficult to taxi due to high idle thrust has been mentioned a few times.
With down to -1.4% throttle it goes strongly forward, from -1.5 it goes backwards.
But i did not find someone actually mention how you put it in Low Idle Condition. Could not find anything in cockpit.
Is this modeled wrong in FS24, or is it also like this IRL ?
(Constant back and forth on throttle or ride the brakes.)
Most annoying bugs are pressurisation system and low bank not working.
Also crashed FS24 a few times for me when editng flight plan inflight.
(remove waypoint). And the AT throttle chasing, but PC-24 is worse.
It goes from ground idle to flight idea automatically, theres no way do it manually. Carenado needs to adjust the thrust ratio cause its taxis way to fast at idle(real plane doesnt do that). Unfortunately, beta isnt simulated well either but that would help. The auto throttle is garbage so i never use it, max cruise torque is 40.6
oh yes. really big garbage.. going from 0 to 100 and back to 0 and then from the beginning the whole time. i cant use it, its really annoying. its a shame to release this as a core-plane of the sim.
Thanks @Agathorn1975 âŠfound it!
Bottom line here. Both the PC-12 and PC-24 are garbage as they are right now. Auto throttles, pressurization, nav modeâŠjust to name a few issues. I have been flying both in career mode and I am not pleased with the limited functionality and basically having to be a beta tester for MSFS24. It still has a lot of promise if they can work these bugs out, but overall I am not impressed with the roll-out of MSFS24
Guys, câmon. This is one of the best planes in the carrier mode so far. Personally I love it. You need only to remember to change default FL290 to FL180 on the breefing screen. Yes, it has couple of bugs, but less then many other planes. The Honeywell avionics is way more better then the stupid Garmin. It has fully working AP and AT and itâs way more pilot friendly then G1000. The only thing is text colours but you can take a look of photos of the real plane and this is excacly the way HW designed the avionics. I never had any issues with the AT, the AP on the other hand just stopped to work last flight about 5 minutes before landing on the field sourended by mountains and didnât want to engange again without any caution message, just âAPâ appered for a while on PFD in red and thatâs it and after recovery letâs say just in time landed almost perfectly. Other thing that the buggy ATC was trying to force the opposite RW that was by default with a 300 deg turn on final approch and the flight plan generated twice crossed restricted airspace and after landing on the âwrongâ runway it showed penalty for that, but in the flight summary it wasnât there. The funny thing is that I was wondering how this will affect the reputation and I was a little shocked that it incressed. Of course the game had to crash to desktop 3 minutes later. What I mean, yes it has couple of bugs, but a way less then for excample the Max8, or whole game itself. To be honest, I did buy many games in my life, many of them on the launch day or even in pre-order, many like MSFS2024 a day or two after relase, and near every single one of them came with a list of bugs on the 0-day, but the Devs were fixing them for the first month publishing hot fixes AT LEAST once a day, and MSFS 24? One small update couple of days after launch and the next solving some of the well known massive bugs couple of days before a month from launch. Until about 2 or 3 days ago I was wondering if even anyone from MSFS24 team even bothers to read this official forums. And still have very strong impression, that this is way to be finished product. They say its RTM, no⊠WE ARE THE BETA TESTERS.
From the last flight:
Would be better if I could actually read it, but the screen is so low contrast that it just drives me away. I fly in VR and can read Garmin screens perfectly well, nice and crisp and easy to read. Using the G3000 in the VisionJet is heaven in VR, but as much as I was looking forward to the Honeywell system the implementation is â â â â and so hard to actually read and utilize in VR
Agree with @Agathorn1975. The Vision is SO MUCH better and way less buggy than what they rolled out with both Pilatus.
I didnât pay $299 to be a BETA tester and I am guessing neither did most people on here.
I get it, there will be bugs. But come on, from a Tier 1 software development company like Microsoft with some of the best A.I. at their disposal, I expected more. Way more.
Whatâs funny is thats how the auto throttle was when my job got our first few NGXs. It was either full mcp or full idle, there was no in the middle haha. Thankfully not much later Pilatus updated the system and it fixed the autothrottles so now it doesnât go full idle for small speed changes.
