First flight ever, and what have I been missing! I did a simulated power off landing, and it was just cruising right along like it was going to auto-land! So, I cut off fuel and all electrics. The wind kept the props spinning, and I glided it right on in like butter. What a treat! I flew the X model from '33. Very nice!
@TheBlackWind977 I think all of the local legends and famous flyers were disabled from automatically streaming (along with all the 2020 scenery) during the big patch a few days ago.
You should be able to re-enable it (and any others) in the marketplace / library page. I had to do that, and I built the thing, hehe.
In the Library, select Packs and Disabled Only, look for official MS packs that are disabled. I enabled one Premium and Deluxe upgrade pack and one Aviator upgrade pack, and my missing planes came back. I had to answer “yes” to a bunch of dialog boxes.
It’s available. I’ve had it since I installed 2024 (about a week and a half late, Aerosoft Aviator shipment debacle, which saved me from the release week debacle). As noted, I got it through my purchase of the Aviator edition, I hadn’t previously purchased it in 2020.
I’ve purchased 2024 a few months ago and haven’t tried it yet extensively. Just a quick take-off and landing at SYB. It seems fine.
I’ve noticed that some 2020 seaports are not included in 2024..unfortunally.I have to investigate further.

This is mostly a bug-fix pass, along with a few small improvements, primarily with the airframe textures of the S.55X model, which I’ve updated based on the work the restoration / replica group in Italy has achieved in the years since the S.55 was released for the sim.
Mostly the fixes in this update are minor graphical ones, but in the S.55X the old Asobo GNS530 has been replaced by the Working Title V2 unit, and the screen’s cropping issue fixed. A few missing sound effects in the cockpit have been added, and a multiplayer sound bug fixed.
Also in 2024 the radio had a small issue when tuning frequencies, which has also been fixed, but this problem did not appear in 2020 oddly.
