Q&A said multiple monitors support is months away. How many months, they could not say.

Donât feel bad . almost everyone has to learn that from feedback ⊠I did when I first started posting links to content on my Google Drive (Got FLOODED with email requests !!)
oops, thought I had. sorted Thx
Worth waiting for ⊠A Monitor farm !!!
Nice!! Hope you get to do that again with this sim. Iâll be happy with just 2.
Also here 3x 1080p monitors on 2x GTX1070Ti with a simrig based on Thrustmaster controllers. I also would love to see much better and more realistic graphics without distortion.
If Project Cars or Asseto Corsa can, if even such small game in comparisson as Euro Truck simulator can, Microsoft SURELY can!
Get it on, Microsoft
+1
why it take so long to do this feature which has been already deployed on other sim!
I could not find it listed on the development update.
Does anyone has an idea if a plan even exist
Itâs in the development update⊠Itâs there.
2nd page of snap shot, WIP backlog.
The crux of the matter is that VR is produced with multi view points. You need 2viewpoints one for each eye so expect some form of multi monitor support when VR is progressed weather that by beta testing it and proving functionality or as a specific release when itâs ready.
In pretty sure they know itâs a priority for most of us.
Did you find any fix for this?
Kind of temporary solution - 3 displays in on flat row - no apparent distortion - until proper multi display support will be implemented by Asobo.
The best way we can get this feature prioritize is by ensuring you vote for it in the feature request list. For now itâs not high on their priority list!
I would love to have true 3 monitor support, wtithout the distortion, for sure!!
But I find that using Trackir pretty much negates the issue. You never really gets to see out of the distorted part of the screen. It is only in my peripheral vision adding breath to the experience.
How you guys live without trackir I dont know. Would not fly a minute without it.
Properly setup up you can easily interact with any screen/panel in the plane, closeup if you want.
I have the Trackir pause key mapped to my Honeycomb, and now where the pause stays put I can manipulate, press or dial at my leasure.
If I were to look at my 3 screens fixed and had to use the pointy thing on my yoke to try and look around, I would go crazy, and then I can certainly see the need to have panels and windows on seperate monitors.
As for cockpit builders this is a completely different matter ofcause.
Trackir is the poor mans VR it is said, but VR is not for me I think. Have a VR set for my drone and I hate to have it on. Having a VR headset in for hours on long flights, not me. It is bad enough with headphones.
For me top priority to have multiple screens.
Needs to have high priority and not end up in the backlog.
It was announced to be there right from the beginning.
Such a let down that they havenât thought to add multiple monitor support, its awful with nvidia surround. Xplane 11 had it sorted.
They have thought to add it, and it was mentioned in one of their feature discovery videos. In the recent dev update, theyâve indicated that itâs a WIP, in backlog. They even mentioned that it will use the same multi-view capacity thatâs built into modern graphics cards for VR (handles multi-view and warping), so I suspect that itâs being worked in parallel with getting the VR functionality up to snuff for the upcoming HP VR headset release. The rep mentioned their in-house sim with a 3-projector setup, and stated that they want to get it working to match up the projectors on the screen. If they do this, then those of us with projectors wonât have to worry about 3rd party warping software anymore.
I was extremely disappointed at first when the feature wasnât there from the start, but it sounds like theyâre definitely working on it, and in a way that should make us pretty happy.
I canât post a link, but you can search youtube for the developer Q&A 9.30.20, about 17 minutes in.
Hope this will be aded asap, even if itâs the old way, not in combination with VR. Simple front, left, right outside on three displays view would be great for the beginning, just until itâs fully integrated.
I have a question about TrackIR as Iâve considered getting it⊠I understand that when you turn your head, it pans the view accordingly on a single screen. But you canât see your monitor if you turn your head to the side, so (sorry if this sound dumbâŠ) how do you pan the view without turning your head that far?
You program TrackIR response curves such that it does not pan the view on your monitor(s) 100% proportional to your head movement. Imagine that you make it so that for every 10° turn of your head, it pans the view 20°. What that means is that when I turn my head 45° to the left to look at the bezel between the left monitor and the front monitor, the view has rotated 90°. This presents the horizontal stabilizer at the tail on my left monitor. I can watch my six this way.
Itâs hard to explain in word. Itâs easier if you just watch the video I made, specifically to show how TrackIR is still useful in a triple-monitor setup.
