My Wishlist for MSFS 2020 for updates

Realistically, I don’t foresee that happening because of the overhead associated with maintaining multiple environments (please know that I’m saying that as a regular user and not as a representative of MSFS), but there is a Wishlist topic and you’re free to vote for it:

Don't force users to update

Please allow users to skip the update process if they choose. The download also pegged my GPU at 100% usage for nothing more than a loading screen. Also, allow us to see what the feedback on the update is prior to choosing whether or not we want to accept the update to our system. Forcing updates on users is frustrating when there is not a critical security issue that needs to be addressed.

Option to Delay Patching / Mandatory Updates

I was hoping to fly last night but there was a big patch. Sure I want the latest version with all the fixes but the patch was huge, was going to take hours just to download. Ideally that’s something I’d like to postpone & let run overnight. Basically it meant I couldn’t fly yesterday.
