There is a live map with start and destination, with breadcrumbs, but not a planner. I use Little Nav Map (awesome freeware). Be sure to get LNM Connect too.
The mission list is sort-able by column. Mind the payloads for small a/c Progression is measured by Payment and Experience Points. Money gets you ability to fly bigger and faster planes. XP gets you more varied missions (with higher pay).
Don’t forget to start your mission from a parking space. Zoom to detail in FS Departure selector. Spots can be hidden by the big runway box. You make need to call “Push-Back” (Shift-P) to get away from a hanger.
All the progress tracking is automatic and confirmed with voice prompts. There is also a “Christmas tree” panel with red/green indicators to show that requirements have been met (payload, parking brake, etc). Payload set in FS from the in-flight drop-down menu.
Once you land, taxi to anywhere on the parking ramp and set the parking brake. That will trigger mission end and evaluation. Bush missions require landing anywhere in a 2 nautical mile circle (on the NeoFly map), and setting the brake. No clicking needed in NeoFly.
I installed it last night and that’s what I’ve been doing. It’s easy enough to do it either in the map setup screen or while you’re sitting at the parking spot before you select fly from the app.
Yes. Although if you dont, NeoFLy doesnt know. However if you accept a job where the payload is greater than the plane can carry, it wont let you load up and fly.
Sometimes I forget to add the weight in MSFS and it makes no difference. The dev is looking to make this all automatic.
hi there, thank you for sharing your program, for free. I just made one flight with the savage but can’t set parking breaks, so my flight didn’t get recorded…
Agreed! I put that one in my message that went with my donation . I would also sure like longer flight options. I started out in the upper plains states and airports are already kind of scarce!
it would be great to have an option to take off from any airport I want. Another option would be if we don’t want to make the return trip to the intitial airport.
Another thing: the map isn’t interactive, so it’s not so handy to select a mission.
Just my 2 cents, otherwise great little app, keep up the good job!
Another thought: IMHO the roll and pitch limit should be applyed to any pax, VIP or not. For airliner I don’t know if we can transport plenty of passagers, to reflect the capacity of these planes, it would be great. I know it’s bush flying centered but it would put some further perspective to the career, starting like a bush pilot and finishing more like an airliner pilot: just having to take off from any airport I want, and pick up any other airport, load the plane with PAX, and be monitored for pitch/roll/land.
I’ve ‘bought’ Qualification B and Qualification C, but no ‘money’ was deducted from my total pay, and my Qualification still shows as A on the Tracking/Connection Status list. How do I change my Qualification status please?
The qualification changes with the aircraft. So it’s telling you what qualifications you need for the aircraft you currently have selected. If it’s green your ok,. If it’s red you need to buy a qualification to fly.
Aha! Thank you - I’ll try a flight in the Baron now. I’m really having fun with this program.
I wonder will it work with the Xbox version when that’s launched?
Looks fun. However, I chose an airport in Japan (PJSF) and I’m in parking spot 12 . I try to connect but it says I cannot connect due to not being in a parking spot?
Use WinRar to inpack it. I ahd a different program first and had exact same issues. I noticed that when I used the first program, it did not copy over a few of the empty folders in the rar file (db and users). Using WinRAR it did copy them and worked fine. I guess you could also create the folders manually as they are just empty if you dont wanna bother with downloading a differnt software.
Yes, I had the same problem, also tried WinRAR and 7Zip and tried it on different drives and running as admin - gave up in the end. It uses its own Simconnect dll which I think might be part of the problem with the connecting to the sim. I didn’t try removing their Simconnect.dll and just trying the inbuilt default one?
