NEW A-10 Thunderbolt Releasing in Marketplace today! 3-30-2023

Hey @DeimoS987

Good news and bad news. The good news, is that your aircraft are improving with every release, and as such, so are the features you add. The bad news, is also good news. In my opinion, you should start incorporating a manual for your aircraft. Cold/dark start, smoke pods, avionics, preferred takeoff/landing speeds, procedures, etc…

So, it’s bad in that you don’t have a manual, however it is good that you’re adding so many features/procedures that a manual would be justified. Love the direction and improvements you make to all your aircraft over time.

this Xbox flyer is having a blast with this A-10. the bar had been set very low by mcmisry version, but i think Deimos for this price point has knocked this out of the park. All the flight surfaces work, realistic stall speed, handles like a mud mover and cockpit is very detailed. more than happy with the aircraft and its great to have the warthog flying round the suffolk skies again.

Thanks so much!!! Have a lot of fun with her!

so stable down low , the aircraft is encouraging some mistakes. if you do a livery pack for the aircraft any chance of an 80`s green on green Europe 81st TFW scheme?

Hi Deimos, I love this thing and I know it has a TON of potential.
However, I know tech support is a no-go for devs on the forum, but did notice a few minor issues still plaguing the Hog on Xbox.

  • Jet still rotates by itself when viewing it in the hangar.
  • Still shakes while sitting at idle.
  • Unless I’m missing something obvious here but for some reason I’m still unable to change the altimeter setting.

Like I said, relatively minor, but wasn’t sure if the’ve been brought up previously.

Thanks and keep it up!

Again the shaking?? Argh…. Ok thanks for reports!!

The shaking stops if you change the loadout slightly. e.g. alter the fuel load

Just taking the opportunity to ask to Deimos: it was your A-10 in the FS2024 trailer, wasn’t it ? With the flashlight in the nose…
Any words ? Were you made aware of anything coming ? Or you’re not allowed to talk about it, I guess ?

At least that’s one aircraft we know will translate to 2024.

xbox flyer here, anyone else having rudder problems with the A-10?
from a few seconds into the take off run the rudder is unresponsive until in the air and reverse when trying to land. mine was fine until a couple of weeks ago

anyone not able t have BOTH A10s in their hanger at the same time? why cant folk see demios and Mscenery verisions in their hangers at the same time? do they share some coding or are they the same plane re branded?
Any serious answers would help out alot of users who PAYED for both

That problem
Was fixed in the last update, please update the plane…
Btw i do not think you’ll need the other plane :sweat_smile:

I just bought the A10 last night and I’m having the same problem as Ramduck66 but with the PC version. Is there a fix coming to the PC version of the plane?

There is no issue with the rudder, is a problem with the settings

Can you point me in the right direction to which setting? No other plane has this issue.

What it seems to be is there is no rudder control while on the ground. Taking off the plane looses all yaw (steering) control as soon as NWS is disengaged around 30 knots and landing has the same issue the plane is uncontrollable until around 30 knots when there is a rushing air sound and the plane is controllable again. This problem is even more fun with just the slightest cross wind.

Also I noticed that as soon as I put the gear down the NWS indicator become lit, I would think this indicator would only light up when NWS is actually engaged.
