They have changed the lighting. I got a reply in their forum. Top notch developer they are. Tcas is broke though!
Is it just me or do the A321 and A319 not have wingflex? I went through a storm yesterday and noticed the plane was a little sluggish.
I think I have seen it. However ask on Lvfr forum, they answer quick. Top developer who actually listens!
Is there a big difference between the A321 and the A319 other than size? Curious about sounds, flight model, bugs etcā¦
If you were going to purchase just one between the A319 and A321 which would be and why? Sorry if this has been talked about earlier in the thread.
Thanks!
I have both. I see no difference between them other than size.
I just bought the model.
But I donāt see the possibility of using it WITHOUT the cabin.
Where is the option?
That option has now gone, it was only there because of ctds
Perfect!
Thx!
Hey guys, I was just trying to do some longer flights, but while cruising at x8 sim rate the plane moves up and down a lot, it doesnāt happen as much at x4 or lower so it shouldnāt be the turbulence. Has anyone else noticed this?
I have it and love it
The sound of the 319 is another level in my opinion (in a good way), as is the flight model.
Currently, 319 is higher leve than 321
Have both, recommend both. I do fly the 319 more as it has my favorite livery, the PSA Grinning Bird! Canāt go wrong with either. 321 is solid as well.
I think there was some information about if using a faster sim rate donāt exceed 4x while using an autopilot. Anything faster and the autopilot cannot react fast enough causing oscillations. Sort of the same thing while taxiing. Canāt turn fast enough at 8x to stay in taxiways.
As previously stated shouldnāt go higher than 4x with AP on in ANY aircraft
Thanks, is it only with this plane? I havenāt noticed such oscillations in other aircraft Iāve tried.
And, can it be fixed? It isnāt super important for the A320 family, but with the 787s probably coming this year Iād like to cruise at x8 on the long haul flights.
Aircraft can be flown manually at faster sim rates than 4x.
There are normal vertical movements in every flight due to the weather, atmosphere pressure, and aircraft flight characteristics. These movements are often not very visible unless your eyes are glued to the VSI. Increasing the sim rate makes these movements happen faster and are very visible. The opposite happens when the sim rate is below 1x. Flying seems very smooth and easy because movements are so gradual.
I am gluing my eyes to the VSI in order to test this, and thatās what I see. At x4 the plane bobs up and down normally, rarely past 100 fpm, and when I go to x8 it starts oscillating at Ā±1000 fpm or even more.
Huh, I only just now realize that the x8 sim rate issue is with the sim as a whole, not just this plane. Shame.
As the pilot-in-command, you should be using the elevator to flatten or minimize the oscillations. Use SLEW commands to move the aircraft quickly and smoothly.
This āissueā is in FSX and maybe earlier versions.
FWIW, I, too, want to fly the 787 at 8x rate often so I did some experimenting and figured out two ways to do so without any more than 800fpm of oscillations: a) speed up the plane (from M0.85 up to 0.91, the 787 NE speed) and/or b) descend to a lower altitude I.e. FL310-350. Neither of these are probably realistic or ideal but it does the job when im pinched for time.
Back to the topic at hand, Iām wondering how comparable the flight model for the A321N is to the default a320n, just in terms of acceptable levels of realism. Every YT clip I see of this plane landing makes it look horrible although I know LVFR have updated the plane a few times since release.
Iām on console and Iām waiting patiently for WASM implementation like the rest of us plebs, and have made do with the a320n and 787 but Iād love a narrowbody long-hauler in the interimā¦ is the a321n worth buying when compared to default airliners?
