I’ve done a few flights using your mod and it really is a big improvement. One thing I noticed was that when on the ground the landing gear shakes quite a bit, and thus ends up shaking the whole plane, is this a result of some of the tweaks you made?
I noticed this shake in my video too. I cant think of a thing in my mod, which could be the problem. But I will try to figure this out. Kind Regards
It’s not a huge deal and the benefits definitely outweigh it, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong.
Looks great! Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy variety, and equally love the tributes you produce to the courageous flyers of WW2. In that respect, I might mention that my late father-in-law was an RAF pilot of a P51-B, shot down near Frankfurt while on a reconnaissance mission, survived and spent 3 years as a POW.
Dude just wanted to thank you again. Got it working quit easily and the sounds you provided are the bomb It really is a joy now to fly this thing. Sounds like a monster in need of some taming
where can I get your paints?

Correction: the rudder trim does move with button assignments, but it’s almost imperceptible - very, very slow, no matter how fast I hold or repeat the button presses. Similarly, the mouse wheel actuation is also relatively slow. Could be quite a problem if a ‘Scramble’ required.
Any ideas how the reactivity could be improved, or an AH fix required?
One click per degree or 1/2 degree would be nice e.g. 6 or 12 clicks to get to 6 degrees right or back to neutral after takeoff.
Apologies if this has been answered before, but is there a way to jettison the drop tanks? The only method I’ve found is to set to zero in weights and balance menu, but that tends to flick all the other tanks back up to 50%
I finally finished it. If you want to build your own MSFS/AH compatible P-51D trims, gear and flaps pedestal there’s an assembly video at AuthentiKit P-51D Mustang Pedestal Assembly Guide - YouTube and the description includes links to all the free downloads.
I’d only been vaguely aware of AuthentiKit but now I’ve been to the website and looked at their videos and… and…
…another rabbit hole to go down…
Sigh.
Is this coming to Xbox? Sorry if this has already been asked
Sorry, I researched this and the circuit board used is not currently xbox compatible. Someone may know a solution to that but I’m afraid I don’t.
something wrong now, switches of batter and generator not animated, same with mixture, i doesn’t look other stuff
p.s. don’t know what that was, but now everything all right(only change skin from default to the bunny gun)
Sounds like the bug where, when you run into an issue, if you restart the flight, it fixes everything. Perhaps not everything is getting loaded or something.
Update now available: Version 1.2.0
- Addressed the bug on the loadouts
- Addressed the texture mismatch on all modern civilian versions
- Output with SU9 SDK ( not sure if it matters )
- Added Bob hoovers racer ( Early racing livery and as it appears now ).
- Removed the prop blur shadow ( it was annoying ! )
Sound is still dismal, and the rudder trim continues to be very slow to react when bound to JS buttons. Otherwise, still flies fine.
