Great flying, great video!

I love this jet to bits but the standard zoom level in chase view makes the plane look so small.

Also, the wonderful sonic boom effect is gone when you’re panning around the aircraft in external view flying mach 1+

@DeimoS987

Noted thanks, i’ll double check!
Thanks

Hey @DeimoS987 with the new updates this aircraft is now my favorite one to fly.

I just notied that when viewed back from the cockpit the pilot is missing. its was quite awsome to look back and see the pilot when turning the jet side ways. could you add the pilot back? or is there anything missing from my side.

Hello!
Tonight the update will finally be out with the issue of the pilot fixed…

At the moment just put 175lbs on loading page for the pilot.

Just Installed the latest update. everything works fine but sometimes the landing gear doent deploy for some reason. this happens totally random.

Also noticed you reserved the camera position to previous position and now its too zoomed out again.

Everything, really?

Even the nosewheel steering?

It is too zoomed out. For some reason, @DeimoS987 can’t seem to get the zoom level correct in the chase cam for the Felon and Griffen. The kicker is his Mig-29 looks absolutely fine.

I’ve had some back and forth with him and he said he would just restore it to the original zoom level as the updated one looked really goofy.

I’ve given up on this entirely and moved on since.

Nose wheel works but the landing gear issue is there. Once up it doesn’t come down.

Nosewheel not working for me. Are you on Xbox?

It NEVER works after landing and applying regular brakes to slow down.

Yes Im on Xbox. the nose wheel does work for me.I forgot to mention that i got the landing gear to work. Im using the Turtle beach Flight Stick and added a another button to landing gear and it started working.

In the F-18 in MSFS there is a Nose wheel lock. may be its possible to control the nose wheel lock via button mapping?

The nosewheel lock is an aircraft specific thing. There’s no generic toggle or command assignment for it like there are for flaps, gear, or air brakes which apply to all aircraft.

We should get a nws toggle for the Felon. It badly needs one.

Hey I was wondering if the supermaneuverability for the Su-57 will ever be fixed? Trying to fly the aircraft maneuvers it can do in real life I have found it is incapable of doing so.

Wasn’t there a dedicated topic for the Felon ?
I second your question though, I’m interested as well

Just saw this video and it’s a bit sad that we’re unable to reproduce these manoeuvers in the sim right now

Really cool video! Thanks for sharing! At the 2:39 mark that Felon looks incredibly intimidating!

A few of those maneuvers can be reproduced in the sim if the flight model allows. I know with the F-22 if you are at 300 knots, you nose down and then nose up, rudder right and you’ll do the Kvochur’s bell maneuver. (youtube Aaron Rheins Top Gun Manevuer for video/instructions)

I will say, I have questioned if Demios planes accelerated on takeoff too fast, but now I cannot say he is wrong because that SU-57 went from ground to air in just under 9 seconds. Obviously I don’t know what weight/fuel the aircraft had but it’s definitely possible to be airborn in the Felon in less than 10 seconds b/c SAPDaube just posted video proof of it!

PS- @DeimoS987 Could you add parachute deploy for the Felon like what is shown in the video? 6:53 mark

Well, the Felon has modern powerful engines, and for such a demo, it caries no weapons and only a minimal amount of fuel. That helps a lot with short takeoffs
That being said, I do believe the Felon in MSFS a a bit too much power. And I wish it had super-manoevrablity too

Kinda like this?

Blocked in my country, I cannot see your video, sorry :frowning:
