Welcome welcome, nice to see you around!

Hi! I am also new! I am 85 years old and live in SW Oklahomaā€¦ I am getting into flight sims mainly to have something to do. I am on dialysis and have to work my daily schedules around my treatment times and this seems to be the perfect solution. I hope I donā€™t ask too many dumb-ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  questionsā€¦ I used to fly many years ago and this seems like a great way to at least get back to part of that lifestyle.

I am Peter Copeland, Richmond NSW Australia. I have played FS3[ATP], FS4 - FSX - many years on many computers. Had to stop because FSx wouldnā€™t run on Windows 3+. I flew, C17, Ekranoplan [couldnā€™t find the one on FS?, speedboat, passenger liner, schooner: [Simviation]. Now have computer capable of running FS 40th Anniversary. Are there carriers on FS40 [ or is it FS23] please?
Also, how do you access previous .flt files, to rerun them or quick access airports. I am green horn (70yrs) to new computer systems. While working, I was Defence Communications Engineer [on Naval Comms Bases, Subs, Frigates, Destroyers, C130H & J, F111, [I ā€˜flewā€™ B707, C130 and FA18 simulators - landed FA18 on a carrier and B707 at KFS] and Armoured Personnel Carriers] - mostly hardware, not software. Thankyou

Hi!
My name is Woeps

I just recently discovered MSFS which Iā€™m enjoying by flying low and slow with the Beechcraft Bonanza.
And thus far this seems like an ideal way for me to chill and zoom around.

And I thought to join this community to check out what itā€™s all about.

Soooooā€¦. Hello!!

Thankyou GloomyLake935. The Natasha title is from my granddaughter who lives with us. You have read my background. I am just getting used to the newer connection arrangements. Is this edition of FS
2022, 2023 or 2024? It appears that a mouse with joystick and peddles are required. I did ask about aircraft carriers. From memory, previous editions had the carriers located at sea. One was located outside San Francisco harbour, but I couldnā€™t see if there was one there. Any hints please. I also have not seen any reference to military fighters in the planes list, though there is one in the ā€˜boxā€™ picture. I am also retired, but we started looking after 4 grandchildren about 10 years ago. 2 have finished High school. Of the other 2 one just started High School [ Year 7] and the other is in Year 9. High schooling in Australia finishes at Year 12. Then to University. I achieved Bach Electrical Engineering in 1977. We live at Richmond NSW, near an Air Force Base. I worked there for 5 years, performing maintenance support on Hercules C130H&J, P3 Orions [ based at Edinburgh South Australia] and F111 [ based at Amberley, Queensland now basing F35 and FA18 and Wedgetails AEW&C(737)]
