I like the 182s because of the constant prop also like NX Club. Low and slow for me right now, but one day I will venture out and try the big boys. Playing by the book no assists and doing all interactions manually, “Hard” Just got a keyboard and mouse to go with my controller,

This is my first post and since 2012 I’ve played on mobile flight sims like Xplane and Aerofly on my IPad and I’ve always looked at PC flight sims but could not justify getting a high end PC.
Two weeks ago I found out that MSFS runs on Xbox and now I own a Series X.
Just thought I’d introduce my self and I’m going to fly GA aircraft eventually using a flight stick wireless mouse and keyboard but the controller is good for now.

New simmer here. I’m on MSFS 2020 40th Anniversary Edition. Lovin it so far! Been into aviation since I was knee high to a tow tractor. I’m still trying to pick up the nuances of the aircraft and all, but I’m having a blast learning! Great to be here! -Ray

I downloaded an FA18 and then update to SYDNEY Australia
I have downloaded Aircraft Carrers, and Helicopter carriers packs.
FA 18 takes off from ground fine, but unable to takeoff from carriers. Throttle increases, but gets clamped and no velocity. EMLS or catapults. I can’t remember which packs ‘George Bush’ ‘Enterprise’ [not the UK + packages]. What key combinations activate EMLS or Catapaults, please. I did write the packs down, but can’t identify instructions. Can you assist please?.

My Name is Paul i play on PC.
I was tempted to buy the game because it is clearly the best flight sim available right now, for civil flight.
i just am trying to get my head around it, struggling with the configurator, it is quite difficult to use. basic controls that are pretty universal are buried within a labyrinth of drop down menus. pitch, roll, throttle, rudder, flaps, gear etc. the fact there is no manual for this game is puzzling also. whinge over.

Hey! My name is Deakin! I am using MSFS on my PC! I come from a background of moble flight simming. I started a few years back with Infinite Flight. As many of us here, I also share a strong passion and love for aviation. I have always been eager to achieve the realest sim experience I can. This is because I have Glaucoma, and Nystagmus which makes me unable to be a pilot one day. I am planning to get involved in the FS community, but just taking it slow to learn. I plan to pursue a degree in Aviation after high school and take a job in the broad field.

Hi, I’m just getting started and already having a problem. The tutorial instructs me to release the parking brake, which I attempt to do with button 9, and nothing happens. It just keeps asking me to release the parking brake. The joystick is otherwise working, controlling the yoke.
