New York vegitation and tearing?

I have no real NY mods or files in the community folder.

Just north of La Guardia (pic 1) i have tears in the river?

And after that especially the north along the Hudson is more or less complete jungle. Also the New Jersey side it looks like there is a dike of trees or something.
In Queens al trees are bigger then the houses.

There are way too much and too tall trees in the NYC metropolitan area

Now the question is, is there an easy way to fix this or fix it in developer mode myself? Because there are more places with way to much trees or completely the wrong height.

w.r.t “tears in the river”, this is a known bug-logged issue. See this thread:
