That’s the conclusion I came too ![]()
I can understand they dont remove the encription, but what is really hard to accept is that it’s been an entire year and they didn’t fix it.
Thank you for your mod and effort man, thanks to you (and not those who I have pay the premium version) I am able to use the Longitude even if not perfect, much better than the original one.

yeah. it is what it is these days. Live and learn. We maybe fool to fall once, but very few will fall twice.
I don’t mind if they encrypt textures and other types of assets, but the XMLs should be decrypted. That would still not open up the mod to the public, but it’d enable us to mod/fix the plane properly.
Did you figure this out?
I saw a review of the Longitude via a pilot experience. I think M.82 was optimal cruise speed. M.84 was max speed. My take from this was: As a pilot, you may need to adjust speed depending on your weight and distance, something between M.78 and M.84 with optimal M.82.
For the sim, I usually fly about 1 hour flights, standard payload (50% fuel, default passengers and baggage) at M.82 somewhere around FL380 to FL410.
In an article I read on the review of the real Longitude, the pilot engaged AT on the runway, along with pressing TO/GA. Speed was set to… I think 250, then he raised the speed to 275 above 10k until FL380. They did not go higher because cabin altitude would exceed 10k, I think, and for the short trip, no need for crew oxygen. He too switched to Mach at some point.
I switched to Mach but the AT did not stick to that speed, it appeared to stay with IAS.
Cool I fly at FL430 and FL450 at .80M
I usually fly at .82
.84 with live weather you get a lot of overspeed warnings when the sim decides that you enter a new weather zone
It looks like, as Dakfly‘s mod survived well the WU6.
I reinstalled it after the WU6, tested it and worked all fine for me.
Not surprising. Dakfly’s mod has always been a rock solid superstar, at least for me.
I expected this but still sounds nice to hear. I haven’t flown in a while.
cant wait for the day that Working title will update the G3000/5000 with the NXI code
Flying the Longitude will be incredible
Also add the TBM 930

(opssssss… off topic
)
I rather like the current WT G3K/5K mod, 0.7.4, works flawlessly with Dakfly’s mod for me, tested now in 4 flights after SU6.
Which means the the 3K/5K with NXi “technology” will perform even better. The HSI map is also included in the current 3K and 5K IRL, among other features, and it will be coming from the same people (WorkingTitle), so why settle? There’s a lot that’s missing with the current iteration, and it’s being put on hold to take advantage of everything “learned” from the NXi.
didi you ever fly the TBM 900 from Hotstart in xp ? that one is incredible, one of the best study level aircraft ever.
the TBM930 from Asobo will never be like this.
never flew Xplane
Just to let you fellow C700 lovers know that I have created a separate bug thread about the slow ALT/HDG incrementation here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/longitude-altitude-heading-select-advancing-slowly/451626
Jummivana (Jayne) - Senior Community Manager has kindly requested any information regarding this issue so she can bring it to the team’s attention.

So head on over to that thread if it’s occurring to you or have anything to share.
