Nvidia Game Ready Driver 572.42

I love that all you people think I can remember what your setup is post to post.

Please. EVERY… SINGLE… POST… Please post what your computer setup is and pancake vs. VR and 2020 (dx11 or dx12?) vs 2024, and nVidia app active or not (installed or not even?).

Make a sig or something that you can cut and paste in.

What’s the point in posting in this thread if we don’t know the specs?

@TenPatrol, thanks for setting up this driver feedback thread. I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this, but with this driver and SU1 Beta (currently 1.3.19.0) I’m seeing a huge uptick in CPU usage. I don’t see the same increase in CPU usage with MSFS 2020. With driver 566.36, CPU usage for all the same conditions in both 2024 and 2020 is between 17-20% when flying in Free Flight. With driver 572.42, CPU usage for the same conditions jumps to 70-90% for the current SU1 Beta, but stays at 17-20% in MSFS 2020.

nVidia App is not installed, and all NCP settings are at their defaults. Installed each driver using the “Custom” and “Clean” install options. GPU is an RTX 3090. DX12 is used in 2020. Using Tobii in both. Turning Tobii off before game launch does not change the results.

572.47 released <3 Nvidia Game Ready Driver 572.47

No problems with Nvidia 566.36 and DLSS 310.2.1 and the app installed.

I have put the wish of a signature under each message in the Wishlist. Got rejected sadly. That would be great
