Tested the Starfield beta and this driver fixed my issues with that (some stuttering, random full power restart of computer after closing Starfield) and it seems to be solid on MSFS for me atm.
I just the base installer but custom install, no HD audio driver, no USB-C driver, no GeForce experience, and retain current settings (due to some specific MSFS NV CP settings).
I got more map CTD’s after OC*ng my GPU. Thats interesting. Might still have to do with the driver . Guess I was wrong. So many new “weird adventures” with this sim. I now also have weird GUI problems in the screen with the animated plane rolling on the taxiways etc. The graphics looks a messed up. Sometimes theres not buttons, or text…some other time the button and labels are on wrong place, very often in t he top right corner (with OC off)..
Maybe, but I have experienced it with drivers 546.17 and 536.40, in both cases I changed the map view to VFR and disabled weather layer. There is a workaround involving cutting down the router download speed that seems to work for some. I am too lazy to try it, as it has to be used in every MSFS session.
