My Cessna 195 is in place and ready!

I’m less than 50 miles West of Norwich. It’s interesting to fly over my part of the world.

Fun flight, not so nice weather (live weather turned on) although at the end of everything I think my plane may have flown through the Bermuda Triangle cause it kept bouncing me between three airports and didn’t like the thought of me landing till I attempted to do it in a field, I need more practice landing with some planes.

What’s the deal with the flight plan adding north pole waypoints? I remember reading about this in the past but haven’t dealt with it personally before.

Thanks

It’s an issue if you have Navigraph nav data installed. Waypoints on Seedy’s plan don’t always seem to line up properly with those in the Navigraph data and the sim reacts by sending the course via Santa’s house. If you disable Navigraph then the plan should work, or else you can re-create it in Navigraph Charts and get a plan that does work (you’ll have to enter any user waypoints as coordinates).

I am in. :dove:

Loading, then exporting from LNM also works.

I am kind of surprised that my comments on the development of Lelystad Airport - that contained no swearing or any other kind of indecent wording - was deleted from the Twitch chat. The topic of the airport was not even raised by me but by the hosts of the community fly-in. I do not understand such censorship.

That is the next leg of the world tour done with. I though it would be appropiate to fly the DC-3 in the PH-PBA livery, as the foundation with wonderful volunteers keeping this plane flight worthy have announced this year will be the last year they do tour flights with this Dakota. A plane with an amazing 80 years history, I wish to commend the DDA for keeping this plane in the sky.

@ElkanDavid,

We have, and always have had, a very strict “no politics” rule on both these forums and in our Twitch chat. Your comment violated this rule because it was (in your own words above) criticism of national authorities.

This is a relatively minor infraction and we neither timed you out nor banned you from the channel. In the future, please refrain from any discussion of political issues.

Thanks,
MSFS Team

I understand and appreciate that there is a no politics policy for the Community Flights, and perhaps I did touch onto politics there, although it was my opinion as an aviation enthousiast on the development of Lelystad Airport - but that I could have worded in other better ways as to not get into politics. Thank you for further clarifying the no politics rule.

I wish to emphasize that I do appreciate the weekly community flights and am grateful for the joyful community that takes part in it. I look forward to the future flights and am thankful for the flights I got to take part in thus far!
