[Official] Community Fly-In Friday: World Tour Stage 9: Amsterdam to Luxembourg

NOTE POSSIBLE TIME CHANGE!

MOST OF NORTH AMERICA SWITCHED TO DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME LAST WEEKEND, SO THE START TIME FOR FLY-IN FRIDAY IS NOW 1800 UTC, NOT 1900 UTC AS IT HAS BEEN FOR THE PAST FIVE MONTHS

We will be hosting an Official Fly-in alongside a group of community members (you!) on Twitch. This is an open event, free to all who would like to fly along with us and available to pilots of all skill levels. The goal is to have a great time, explore new locations of the world, and make new friends. This event is open to pilots on both the PC and Xbox platforms.

Hosted by @SeedyL3205, @Pieter2427, and @simtom2
When: Friday, March 15 @ 1800Z for two hours.
2024-03-15T18:00:00Z
Where: The Official Twitch Channel of MSFS

There will also be a Discord event channel open for those who want to voice chat with other members of the community.

Please see below for details on the upcoming Fly-In Event:

Had an interesting moment with this flight, I bought a few planes and chose one of them as it was within the specs that was required. Naturally I began to fly and was feeling rather sleepy and fell asleep, I guess autopilot fell asleep as well cause it certainly missed our runway

So today I decided to redo the flight, with a different plane. The odd thing was the plane I took in the previous video claimed that it was going to take three hours to complete the flight when the cruise speed was actually 130 knots rather than 120, made no sense to me, and you can see that at the start of this video. As I said, I redid the flight with a different plane today

so do i need to download something or log in at certain time to be a part of this fly in. I am new to community events.

Just apply the Server and Multiplayer settings in the original post, fire up the simulator with the flight plan loaded - or at least starting at the correct airport - and you’re good to go.

thank you I am not a computer guy, so i change the server in MSFS options page??

Hello @loveofflight,

If you watch the Twitch stream (link below) when the event starts, I’ll explain everything you need to do to join the group flight. Most participants like to have the Twitch broadcast on a second monitor or alternate display like a tablet while they’re flying with the group.

Thanks,
MSFS Team

That was a fun flight, really enjoyed the sights. Looking forward to flying to Paris next week!

Wonderful time flying with everybody today! I had just purchased the Flying Fries Hughes XF-11 only an hour before the stream so this was my first flight with her, wonderful flying experience and incredibly well detailed, flies like a dream!
