Official Discussion: Reno Air Racing

The Mustang A-D is the biggest difference. Some of the L-39s have different wingtips too. The nature of the T6 race (stock aircraft) means they should be the same.

Hey there i just figured this out it was pretty simple. To uninstall the beta just go to the Windows apps and features list and click uninstall. The next thing to do is to go to your MSFS game directory, then go into the Official folder then into the onestore folder. Next you’re going to want to sort by most recently edited. then 6 folders should come up at the top. One for each aircraft in the demo, one for orbx cockpit voices and one called fs-base-demo. Remove all 6 folders and your sim should be back to normal!

Same here. Have not managed to fly any races.

I’m really interested in knowing how diferent and in wich way the aircraft from the same class perform (showing that it’s not 40$ more for a bunch of diferent liveries and cockpits/models)

So we give our feedback on the 25th?

How long do we have to make purchase before the discount is gone?

I don’t think the discount will end. This is a marketing trick.

Pardon me for not having trawled through the whole thread, but I have just spent an hour on the GOTY thread and may have missed any relevant answer, but my question, is this and I would be grateful if anybody can fill in the blanks.

Regarding the close proximity/vanishing aircraft bug in the main sim. Does Reno address and fix this? If so, does this fix also fall back into the main sim, for formation flying, etc in multiplayer? What about the distance that other aircraft can be seen and followed? Does this translate back to the main sim as well?

Thanks to all in advance.

@Jummivana do you actually need an XBox Live Gold subscription to enjoy the Reno Air Racing multiplayer on the PC version of Flight Simulator?

I would love to spend the $80 CAD, but I really don’t wanna do that then find out I gotta spend another $15/month on top of that…

Nah its free on PC

No, Xbox Live Gold (or Game Pass Ultimate) is only required for Xbox players. This is not needed to play multiplayer Reno races on PC.

Reno doesn’t fix that bug, but the team are aware of it and working to fix it. Keep your eyes on this thread below for updates.

Thank you very much.

Get your job done Asobo!!!

As I understand it there are no races against A.I. pilots. If true, and from what I can tell it is, this is why I won’t buy into the expansion. I don’t play online games, but I would have been more than happy to have shelled out for the full expansion pack if I could have the A.I. race against me. Why not an offline vs A.I. race career? What happens when online player numbers fall off a cliff? Does the expansion become useless?

I guess the planes are still worth the money? I haven’t made up my mind yet, I might buy it and only fly the planes in free flight.

It does not come across that well in the Sim Graphics , but those Pylon Poles are NOT what you want to hit with your plane.

They are not the wimpy inflatable Red Bull Pylons:- they are SOLID Telephone Poles !!
