Thats interesting I got that at the top of my screen..I changed my renering scale from 120 to 100 then it disappeared, it maybe just a coincidence. Noticed when panning around also when prpellers were rotating on Cessna 152.
My only concern is Will the SIM look like SU4 before the tragic came? If not, then my time as a new simmer has ended. All my 3rd party addons which i spend over 200 euroâs has gone in smoke. Su4 wasnt perfect but it was worth flying through all the little bugs it had. Cross fingers!
Default 787 cabin views sound effects, it super unrealistic in SU5, can hardly hear the usual engine thrust, reverse thrust, rattling noises after landing etc..replaced by some passenger chatters.
I replay alot in these views, please bring back the more realistic/ pre SU5 sound effects for the airliner pls!
For general aviation, every US-registered aircraft requires an annual airworthiness inspection, which must be performed by an A&P mechanic who also holds an IA (inspection authorization) rating. There is no test flight requirement.
The inspection does not involve a permit, and is not registered or otherwise recorded with the FAA - it is simply entered in the aircraft logbook. For that reason, some aircraft owners may try to get away with not doing an annual, as it can be rather costly even for a simple aircraft. But, if they get caught in an FAA ramp check, and cannot produce a logbook with a sign off for a current annual, there can be substantial fines and penalties.
If an aircraft opener is also an A&P with an IA rating, they can sign off an annual on their own aircraft.
Actually they said in their little âAsobo Press Releaseâ on Wednesday, the bug fix will be on Friday, unless complications arise then it will be Monday.
How did you come by this wisdom? I ask this, because it is not true. But as with any release with a deadline, everything that is reported gets triaged. So there are always findings that donât make it to the release and have to wait till the next one.
After release lots and lots of people and many more variables come into play, like a zillion other hardware/software combinations, bandwidth issues, you name it.
At this point the triaging starts again, which gave us hotfix #1 and the upcoming #2.
This is what it is, and in my opinion Asobo is doing a great job by giving many, many people the opportunity to fly across a near real world. Of course amidst these thousands and thousands there are some, and sometimes more, that encounter problems and take to the forums. These issues are real, sometimes overlooked by Asobo, sometimes because someone doesnât follow the guidelines.
Weâre all here to try to help each other and escalate issues when necessary. This sim relies heavily upon our input.
Because, hey, we ARE the world ![]()
I hope this comes out today and also fixes the CTD issues. Itâs been weeks since I have been successfully able to click fly now without a CTD
Well if you think this is a bug you gonna wait a long time for a fix. ![]()
So can we expect an official word from Asobo/Microsoft today about hotfix release either out today or next week? ![]()
Oh yeah I almost forgot Asobo wheres the patch It Friday, whereâs the patch. Sorry I had to be the 1st lol.
CTD they said itâs going to be an on going with expected fixes within the World Updates this hotfix will NOT fully resolve any CTD
âUse the news, Luke!â
Are you saying that you ABSOLUTELY cannot fly without some not yet updated add-ons?
By the way: you should escalate this to the third parties, because Asobo doesnât manage their planning.
Regarding if itâs releasing today or next week I know what they written and have used the news!
So you knew the answer to your own question up front. Interesting.
No I wanted to know if they are releasing the hotfix today or not!
And you know the official answer already: âwithin the next business daysâ. That has to suffice.
Well no not really they was their estimate, wanting to know if itâs going to be ready either today or next week
If it comes it comes. If they donât think itâs stable enough, youâll have to wait.
Would you want Microsoft to communicate every single step of the way?
Iâd say: lower your expectations a bit. Much more relaxed

It would be nice to keep people in the loop if itâs ready for release today or not
