I’ve been using using MSFS almost daily since its launch (bought it on Steam, Nov 5th, 2020). Yesterday, starting the simulator, all of a sudden it started asking me to log into xbox. There’s no way to avoid it, so that’s what I did. Now, I lost everything: my profile with over 1000 hours logged, my settings and especially my joystick presets!
I never had any other flavor of MSFS other than Steam. But it’s been so long since I bought it, I figured it asked for a xbox account on the first day and I had forgotten about it. Logging in again wouldn’t hurt.
I know my presets are in this folder, so I haven’t really lost them:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\xxxxxxxx\1250410\remote
I’m desperate. Is there any way to restore this information?
