And this discussion on a publicly accessible forum is exactly why you don’t do things like this. It damages your brand via mockery, and is that really worth £8?
I’ve seen this happen time after time, and the defence might be that the company has listened to the community, learned lessons etc.
In reality they tested the marketplace to see what they could get away with, and the market pushed back, or at least some did. Marketeers are always pushing the envelope, testing the waters to find out how much the market will take before they get slapped back.
I hope this is the last time we see a v1/v2 bundle.

Exactly this. I wont file anything at their site or whatever.
and no way iam gonna pay 1 euro, dollar, pound, cent, bitcoin or bar of gold for a v2.
Hope they come soon to their senses and just put the updated version for all in the marketplace.
I think I paid £12 for V1 from ORBX. V2 in Marketplace is £8. UK2000 offering is £11.

So, since it’s an airport I use occasionally, I bought the Orbx version of London City Airport - both versions - as a package in the MSFS Marketplace sale.
That’s a lot of cranes in - and, for that matter, around - Royal Victoria Dock, but I’m not sure that’s what would make this package a bargain.
I renamed my Community folder and had another look:
So not a conflict with anything there. How about removing the airport scenery from the Official folder?
That’s the default scenery and the default number of cranes. What if I just put back Orbx V1?
Better scenery, better cranes, and the right number of them.
Clearly the fault is in V2 of the Orbx scenery - the crane plague showed up again when I put it back in the Official folder.
Did no-one at Orbx take the trouble to get in a plane and have a good look round before they released V2?
Incidentally, a valuable prize of nothing at all to the first person to correctly identify which version of the Edgley Optica that is.
Indeed. I tried removing V2 from the Official folder but didn’t try to to remove V1, which is (as I’ve just seen @Mr3d101 point out above) what I should have done. Mind you, I was downloading about eight sale items rom the Marketplace that day, and who expects to find unexpected instructions for scenery in the Marketplace blather? Or, for that matter, something sold as an add-on to function as a stand-alone?
Oh well. live and learn.
